I feel like it's important that we have a coach with Memphis ties and would rather get a true RB coach if he leaves instead McClendon. McClendon is a good coach but I don't think he improves our current staff.

Thought some of you might find this interesting. It is Bill C's SP+Conference and Division rankings. Some have been talking how close the AAC is to the ACC this year and his chart supports them being close, but maybe not better. There is a closer gap between the ACC and AAC than between the ACC and Pac-12

And for all the talk of a weak SEC East, we are still ranked 3rd here by a large margin and not even that far behind the B1G's East division. #1 Defensive division.

A true RB coach will just help recruit the position. Someone from Memphis would be the regional recruiter and recruit all positions.

I'm not a big believer in west coast talent. I have seen waaaay too many west coast busts over the last 10 years to believe the hype. Florida talent is the real deal.
