Imagine thinking anyone cares about this lmaoI've replayed this over and over. Used the curser to move it back and forth. The argument can be made that Jennings wasn't aware that he was stepping on the guys face. It would be nearly impossible to prove that he did know unless he confessed. But I gotta tell you folks. I believe Jennings knew exactly what he was doing. Before you crucify me don't forget that I admitted there is no way to prove it.
I can't help but wonder if it affects which bowl we go to. I don't think any bowl committee would want this incident being argued in the media every day for a week before the game whether Tennessee has a player that should not be eligible. If the game we play in is not televised by ESPN you know they are going to run it relentlessly for no other reason than they hate Tennessee.
In no way was that “stomping Vandy”. Stomping Vandy is 65-0 in 1994, 62-14 in 1993, and 48-0 in 2003. This game was muddling through a game where we had awful QB play and we’re fortunate a freshman running back broke off 2 long, improbable runs. Guess should be pleased that we won at all considering how the season began, but we owed Vanderbilt a big time ass whipping tonight and the team didn’t remotely deliver.
Gave you a like for this but couldn't help notice that you were squarely in the "hating on JG" camp during the game. Hypocrite much?In no way was that “stomping Vandy”.
