Dude....at least you have a southern meal. I’m eating with a crew from Jersey.

Dad doesn’t want to get out of bed. “If I don't get out of bed, I won’t fall.”
I'm gonna be 72 next May and I'm on the golf course everyday. I guess I'm fortunate because I hear guys talk about their parents, that are my age, having so many health issues. Last year I met a guy who was 100 years old and still playing golf. He instantly became my hero and gave me inspiration to be on the course if I make it to 100. I believe I can. I hope your dad can find the inspiration to get up without fear of falling.

If Auburn and A&M both lose tomorrow, we will be the outright 5th best team in the SEC behind LSU, Bama, UGA, and Florida. Why wouldn’t we get the bid to the Citrus bowl if Florida gets into the group of NY6 bowls? Seems we would be in line for that or the Outback at worst.

Why are they giving Pruitt a raise/extension? Yes...the team has improved from this year to last ....but they also should be going for their 9th win tomorrow. I would see how he does next year to gauge whether or not he gets raise/extension.

Because he’s earned it.

There's always one in the crowd. Call Fulmer and ask him that question. I'm sure he'll give you a satisfactory answer. While you're at it, see if you can get Catbone on the call with you.

Getting the Butch out of this team in such a short time frame is a miracle.

I know this is a football forum - but golf is my go to and always will be. I have the same philosophy on aging and am not far behind you age-wise. Go out upright with your feet on the ground, preferably on a golf course. Being outside with moderate exercise, enjoying the scenery with friends and family, using your analytical skills to figure out the best way to score, and even spending some alone time with the Lord - that's the way to enjoy life leading up to and after retirement.

I live in Georgia but hate virtually every sports team in the State, for various reasons.

After the highly entertaining last couple minutes of the Egg Bowl, I switched over to the ending of the Falcons/Saints game, hoping to see Kamara make some fools look silly.

The Falcons were down 26-9 and scored a touchdown, making it 26-15, and they chose to go for two. I couldn't figure that out for the life of me. There was no way to make it less than a three score deficit, so it didn't make sense to me. And it almost bit them in the ass...after recovering the second (third, really) onside kick, if they had scored, it would have been 26-24, and they would have had to get the two-point conversion to tie it, whereas they would have only needed the extra point to tie (or 2-pt conversion to win) if they had kicked the extra point earlier.

All that being said, the three (only two, officially) consecutive on-side kick recoveries were a sight to behold. I thought Sean Payton was about to execute his special teams coach right there on the sideline!
