Make sure you go to a grocery store (like Schnuck’s). Best thing about the state of Missouri is they sell liquor right in the groceries. I was amazed all over again every single time I went shopping.

Maybe the locals will have mellowed after a few years in the SEC but when I was up there the contempt they had for the south in general and Tennessee in particular was ridiculous. I was asked more than once if I’d grown up going to a one room schoolhouse. If I wore shoes as a kid. Etc. They don’t belong in our conference.

The move to add A&M makes all the sense in the world, but I still kind of scratch my head about Missouri. Wanted to grab the St Louis market. Does anybody in St Louis watch college football?
