Gun control debate (merged)

Internalize those externalities. No one--pro or anti-gun--can deny that gun usage in the US creates a sh*t ton of negative externalities that are borne by persons other than the gun owner or gun maker. This is just one step to putting those costs back onto the parties in the best position to limit those externalities.

pathetic.

And that's why cigarettes should cost as much or more as they now do. The true societal cost of smoking should be reflected in the price.
No... insurance rates for smokers should be astronomical. And there should be clauses for texting/driving... drinking/driving by the insurance companies that if you injure/kill someone, your policy is null and void. Smoke 2 packs/day and get lung cancer? Awwww too bad, no surgery for you.

Anybody know if this was a troubled young man (white suprematist)? Or maybe a terrorist (Muslim)? Perhaps even a Latino so we can hurry up with that wall? Care to take a guess? I saw trump is “monitoring the situation” so we should find out soon hopefully.
wow, you are truly pathetic

Another school shooting. Anybody but libtards care? If this happened and you lost a child due to someone having a gun that otherwise wouldn’t if there were common sense gun laws would you change your mind?
“Common sense gun laws”. Like what exactly? And how would it stop any shooting?

Nope. I would want the perpetrator set up exactly like Mr Craig was in this picture. The gun was not the issue.

Not going to quote every person on here asking....universal background checks would be a great start. There is no good reason not to have federal program that does a consistent background check.

You need to arm yourself with more and better knowledge before you come to this thread spouting “things that should be done” .

I bet he can go into a gun shop and buy a fully automatic assault weapon , and he won't even have to give his name.
And he can use the gun show loop hole that provides for expedited over night delivery of internet purchases directly from the licensed seller to the non FFL licensed buyer. It’s out of control I tell you! 😳
