We were bad guarding the three last year, doesn’t seem to have changed yet.

To be fair, I don't think it's entirely defense. The game is changing. Post-presence is pretty much non-existent for most teams these days, especially Group of 5 teams who rely on guard play to pull off upsets. It seems most kids just practice their 3-point shot non-stop. None of them seem to have a mid-range jumper anymore, it's just all 3-point shots or dunks.

It’s a different game, absolutely, but Barnes usually is a guy that focuses on the paint anyways. He doesn’t mind letting them shoot and I think in today’s game you can’t quite do that
