The were never even looking at him being out of bounds and coming back in bounds. I always thought if you went out of bounds and came back in bounds you could not be the first person to touch the ball. The expert announcer even said it was a no catch and loss of down. Replay is sooooo bad.

I think if you are pushed out, then you can come in and catch it. I recall us getting that call a time or two over the years. I didn’t see the play but radio said he wasn’t really pushed out. They said it was explained that you can come back in but have to re-establish.

@HankHill I've got a question that's been bugging me, I've watched Chaney's offenses for years and it looks to me like we have Chaney calling plays with Osovets playbook, you see the same thing?

We run a ton of RPOs with maurer. It’s kinda like two different offenses when he’s out there vs JG. My biggest knock on Chaney was our current personnel fitting what he’s historically done and to his credit he has really adjusted that the back half of the schedule. His route concepts and stuff are much of the same but all the rpos we do with Brian and the spread concepts we run with are new.
From people i talk to and trust Tee has played a really big part of the offensive gameplanning this year.
