I’d be stunned if we lost. No way a team that can’t pass beats us right now. Plus Maurer starting so offense will have life. Well run it down their throats and throw it to 15 and pick up an easy win
Just seems like all VN gone Negavol and the team having an off week at practice along with being banged up & UK having a bye wk... We need some juice!

Honestly, FSU hiring Deion isn't that different than Memphis bringing Penny in. Deion has been around the high school game with his Primetime Academy in Texas. You'd think he'd be able to recruit at a high level. so all he would need is a veteran staff to guide him through the process. I definitely think it would be a dumb hire when you consider the other possibilities, (How they aren't knocking Norvell's door down blows my mind) but I wonder if higher level coaches are afraid of the expectations to win with Clemson looming and a weak roster. I don't know how interested I would be in a school who fires a coach halfway into his 2nd season.
I agree but when you throw in all the guaranteed money in the equation that coaches get these days I would be ALL IN. 17/18 million dollar buyout is a pretty good day at the office fir me.

Not sure where the concern is coming from around here. We are playing the best consistent football we have since early 2016 and KY is one dimensional. We’ve been beating teams with balanced offenses. Yes, we are banged up, but we are going to win this game. Chaney is going. To dial them up and Pruitt is going to lock down Bowden for under 200 yards

Kentucky can’t score and at times it feels like we don’t want to score.

Usually that leads to close games which, in general, favors the home team.

I think we’re better and have certainly played better than they have the last month, but if you play a lot of tight games you’re bound to have one bounce against you.

Hopefully this one ain’t close.

Sounds like a pretty good lifetime at the office to me! How does J feel about tomorrow night?

Not sure. We haven't said much about it. Obviously we will be watching the game form different parts of the house or probably even from different places.

We lose tomorrow and I doubt we make a bowl. No bowl and the recruiting dominos likely fall the wrong way.[/QUOT

They'll be putting you on ignore if you break their glass. They are underselling Ky big time. We better have a running game tomorrow night thats for sure. Ky has a good O line and good D line when healthy and they've had a bye week. People in here go bad for about 2 or 3 days after a subpar game then go all orange kool-aid until game time. With the way they are carrying on I think they are going to be shocked Saturday.

I know its hard for them to realize how far we have fallen but KY is no push over after a bye week and some getting healthy. Prepare the submarine to submerge

I think that was well said.

I think the energy of Maurer back in the starting line up will help the team.

I also feel like our defense is pretty damn healthy for this late in the season and lots of younger guys have been getting PT and experience. Really like our chances of being able to slow down a run only team and the offense to get us a lead to make it even more difficult for them to run.

UK sucks and so does your post.

We'll see how it stands up Saturday. I'm telling you- you guys are underselling Ky. Should we lose it will be a bitter pill to swallow and all orange kool-aid would make it a lot worse. UAB whipped our OL many times Saturday. UAB. and that is now in the archives and is factual. How many yards per carry on our home field did we average Ron.
