He'll test well I'm sure. But has anyone really been all that impressed with Chandler? I personally haven't. He does some good things. He hasn't been nearly as involved in the passing game as he was last year. I expected a big year for him and it's starting to set in he may not be as dynamic as I thought.
Decent back. Would get that Elijah Holyfield draft status though. OL should be great next year. There is a right move here

Great speed, decent vision, can catch out of the backfield. A quality SEC back and the best back on our roster. He's not great at making guys miss with an explosive cut and getting upfield. That's what makes a back elite. A back that can do that can turn 0 yards runs into 3 yard runs and 10 yard runs into long TDs. I haven't really seen that from him consistently.

I agree they're not really using him in the passing game. It probably didn't help that the first couple of games we couldn't execute a swing pass.

Hey, y'all do me a favor and let me know if anything happens in the Hardy thread worth mentioning, k? OD going on ignore, so the thread and the trolls no longer exist to me.

We have a losing record overall again, lost to BYU and Georgia State and people are really surprised that recruiting is down? Y’all need to come back to reality.

Just looked it up...

David Johnson - 54th national ranked recruiter for 2020, is the primary on Eason, French, McDonald, Williamson, & Hodge
Last year he was the primary for Keyton, Gray, & Means

Yeah, I don't wanna lose YAC, Ansley, Tee, Chaney, Friend, Rumph, or Nieds seem to be our best recruiters and are doing well at developing guys too.
What in the world you all see in Will Friend is beyond me.

What has he done?
Who has he landed?

And don’t tell me he’s the reason the O line is magically playing better this year. There is another coach new to the staff making that happen.

Underperformance: fahr himmmm!
Overperformance: it’s someone else. Fahr himmmm’

Egggzactly. UGA game was a downpour (note UK scored 0) and UF was with Franks. The minute Trask came in they got railed. Mizzou was also a downpour and Bryant couldn't even handle the ball. Not saying they don't have a good defense, but it isn't dominant either.
Bryant also pulled his hamstring early in that game.

“X” said Hardy likely won’t sign until February and wouldn’t be surprised if we’re back in it by then.

We can point to who he has landed and you'll dismiss it. We can point to the on the field improvement and you'll dismiss it.

And this from the guy out here name-calling everyone like a middle schooler, LOL

Who’s he landed? As the Primary.

Today is a good example why I stopped following recruiting so closely until after the season. Tough to recover from how badly we faceplanted to start the season after cjp reportedly told recruits to see how well we'd do. Just gonna focus on the actual football being played, it's fun again.

Also makes winning out all the more paramount. Finish 7-5 and we will compare just fine to an 8-4 Auburn.

Stinks that we're 21st in recruiting. Dang we need some momentum there in the worst way

Just for kicks, I looked at what our ranking might look like if we filled out the remainder of the class with nothing but 3 star guys. That would mean adding 8 more 3 star guys.

So I added uncommitted 3 star guys to the class calculator as follows: 2 WR, 1 TE, 3 DL, 1 LB, 1 DB

That bumped our total score to 232.89, which would have been good enough for #25 in 2019, #20 in 2018 and #18 in 2017. Not terrible.

1) Win out and recruits will come. Even a bowl game would be big.

2) I think 2021 is when we will see better recruiting results. The NFL draft will very likely help us. Gotta think at least 3 guys will get drafted. Maybe 4 or 5 depending on how things go for Trey and Bituli. Remember how good the 2018 class was looking after our big draft that spring?
