Kentucky has played 2 top 10 teams and is only giving up 21.2 a game...I don't think UAB's defense is anywhere near the same league as theirs.

UAB "held" us to 302 yards, but gave up 30 in 3 quarters to a 92nd rated scoring offense (which was lower before the game) with a one handed QB playing.

Their defense is highly overrated, since they haven't even managed to play a single team with a higher rated scoring offense than us. 3 of their next 4 opponents are better offenses than us though, so we'll see where they end up.

Had the same team (health & energy) that played South Carolina played UAB we would have hung 50+ on them.

The Weather in the Georgia game cant be overstated on impact. You can’t just look at stats. One opponent that could have/would have pummeled you in good weather but you get in a monsoon can really help the defense stats.

Kind of like how bad nfl teams sometimes have good pass defenses. Because everyone whoops that a$$ and the runs down the stretch

You don’t have to take my word for it. His contract and the attention he’s getting speaks for its self. Name me a better coaching job in the last decade over taking WMU to a bcs bowl and improving every year at Minn to have them 8-0 right now.

I get that people think he’s cheesy which may be part of it but dude is a maniac when it comes to schematics, film, and football. He’s also a huge cultural / locker room guy. That’s why i think FSU would hit the lottery getting him. Minnesota AD knew they were interested and went to battle. The timing isn’t just a coincidence.
Interesting take. I haven't watched them.

Well.... the Florida upper classmen is the strength of their team this year.

The Vols upperclassmen is the weakness of the team this year.

So all this attrition doesn't matter right now. But if you think the tide isn't going to turn on this rivalry, you're mistaken.
If you are depending on Mullen being a bad coach to back up this change off Fortune for the Vols in the Florida rivalry, you are going to be sadly mistaken.

There’s some good restaurants but yes most stuff is dog ****
Most tourist traps are havens for shiz food. Might as well get comped at least and for free. Only go there for the day pool parties. Dance places when younger.

Going to a bachelor party there in vegas...will be interesting going back after aging into an middle aged married man 🤔

What does any of that matter if Ulysses doesn't like him?

Change of fortune due to attrition/thin UF team and then by the time Tennessee is rebuilt, Pruitt will be established as a better coach than Mullen.

Mullen is a good game day coach, no doubt. And he’s good with QBs. But he’s also really awkward, has kinda poor judgement, and I think some things might come to light in a more visible place like Gainesville vs Starksville. Which we’ve kinda seen some already with the whole trying to sweep rape under the rug etc.

Our upperclassman are in no way shape or form the weakness of our team. Outside of QB they hold the the best players at every level(as they should be), only one that’s debatable is secondary.

#rowtheboat

Crazy that Minnesota has one of the best coaches in football. Props to that AD. His name is picking up steak in nfl circles. Has a lot of Sean Mcvay qualities and concepts.
He's a Butch Jones type guy off the field with Urban Meyer type results on it. That guy would kill it at a big program. I used to not be able to stand his sort of rhetoric after we went through Jones' garbage, but the cat gets results.

Yes. Just not enough of them: that's the weakness. And think that ambiguity lurks behind the disagreement, and most everyone could agree on the facts if that were cleared up.

Edit: Also, the fact that there apparently were locker room problems which are by all accounts resolved got bundled into people's thoughts and feelings on the question.

No cheap shots = propaganda? Not falsely implying TN is taking advantage of a bullied kids for profit, would make him a sunshine pumper?
Interesting.

I’m just referring to your words:

Positive press doesn't do a lot but we can always use it. Basically as simple as "you're part of the solution or you're part of the problem"

It seems like propaganda is what many want from him. “Tweet positive stuff or be quiet.” That’s fine. Positive press is great. I’m just saying we don’t need to disparage everyone that is pulling a Travis Haney and looking at things from another angle. I prefer having at least one member of our media be unafraid to speak up.

Now, with that said, some of his tweets are obviously trolling.
