Wasn't sure, but the numbers check out. Here's my 17, in no particular order, but recent champs off top of my head listed first:

Bama
Clemson
Osu
Fsu
Florida
Lsu
Auburn
Usc
Ou
Texas
Miami
Tennessee
Georgia
Mich
Penn st
Oregon
ND

_____
Bubble teams 18&19: A&M (resources) and Nebraska (history)

Good list. I'd add Washington as a bubble team, but that's about it. A&M definitely has the resources, but they've had them for a long time and haven't actually won a NC since 1939 and have only had a small handful of top 5 finishes since then. I can see why you'd add them to the bubble, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on them to get to the promised land.

Slow clap...

Kind of a silly niche stat. How many Ravens QBs have been legit runners?

You hear this all the time now on ESPN: "he's the first running back to run for over 100 yards during a full moon while a republican was in the white house". They stretch so hard for 'unique' stats these days.

Makes me wonder how many of you people are plants from other fan bases.

Sometimes it's really obvious. But how often does someone play the long game?

Probably more common in the FF.
Mostly FF
We've definitely had a couple from UF and Ga both. Weird tendency - gators tend to use Vol in their name and stay more consistantly active. Ga fans tend to drop in every couple of weeks just so "upset" about how great Ga is at..well, everything.

But honestly, I think we have way more TN trolls than anything. I mean they probably grew up liking the Vols but it's mostly gone and their true love is just pissing folks off.

Automatically and completely dump on anything TN because that's a sure cause of aggravation.
Their biggest weakness is when TN is doing even remotely well, they have to start finding some really stupid ish to be "wrong". Makes even the regular "negavols" go "wtf?"

It was more a reference to the highlight reel.

I thunk Stoops is to loyal to KY to leave. They stuck with through first couple of rough years. Plus he can win 7 games a year and have a job for life.

Personally I think FSU has something already lined up ...otherwise u keep Taggart thru last game.

You could've said the same about Mullen and State before he pulled the ripcord. There comes a point where guys like Stoops have to decide if they're comfortable being a good coach of a team that will probably never be in the position to win a championship or if they want to go for a higher stress job where they'll have that chance. I don't think it will be a money issue or even much of a loyalty issue so much as a question of whether or not he wants a real shot at competing for championships.

LA is one of the best posters on this board, especially if you don't consider @InVOLuntary . He's definitely not a jerk.

What has Kentucky done this year that is remotely impressive?

Lost to UF, albeit in a fairly close game. Lost to MSU. Beaten soundly by USC. Didn't score vs UGA. Nearly lost to atrocious Arkansas. Had a nice win vs Mizzou, but Mizzou is ass, as they lost to Wyoming and Vandy.

Seems like they've had one good year under Stoops and that was it. And they still managed to lose to our 5-7 squad.

All Georgia trolls need to go make a doody.

I honestly think that Lane Kiffin is the perfect fit for FSU. His problem has been that FAU is a hole to recruit to (I’m an alum). You’re never going to compete in recruiting bringing guys to Boca Raton. Heck, at least UCF is in Orlando, and has a much larger footprint. Give Kiffin the swagger of that program, and a realistic chance to recruit elite Athletes and he’d do well.

For 2 years until he was fired for spending too much time with the local co-eds.
His head coach record overall is very mediocre.

Good point on the comp with Mullen. And another factor is that as football coach at UK, you are by definition the beta male of the athletic program, because you will always be a distant second to the basketball program.
