What the hell is a "pop"? I haven't done the bar scene lately so this is a serious question. Is it the same thing as a "shot'?Went to the game Saturday with some buddies who had never been to a UT game before. We had quite a few "pops" before the game, so my recollection of the first half is blurry. They wanted to head back to the bars for more pops at halftime, so we headed out early and I didn't catch much of the second half.
Logging on here yesterday morning, there was not a lot of excitement from the board, which was surprising considering we routed what many thought was a solid team.
I watched the replay last night and thought we played really good ball against a good team. Plenty of things to improve on, but with a patchwork OL, I thought we played really well.
The most telling stat, to me at least, is that UAB did not run a single play inside the UT 30 yard line until there there was 4:01 left in the game. That is damn dominate D boys.
Our program has turned the corner. To be such a "stinky" team, our guys are sure racking these awards up..

Guess we'll disagree because I just thought people were being way sensitive with all the other stuff. Overreacting to every little thing said it was a weird obsession for awhile.Oh yeah, that's how it works. If he does a real piece, it just magically undoes any trolling posts from when we were struggling.
Nailed it.
From articles out of Florida, it certainly sounded like a stronghold move. Essentially boosters were revoking 100% of donations unless the AD let this happen. Crazy how much power they can have once money dominates a sport. Hope for their sake they don't have any Haslam types down there.I dont think they have their guy all but MOUd. This appeared to be angry boosters spending angry money after losing. I think FSU hire will be underwhelming or historically overpaid. Buyout will be gargantuan
The FF is on the edge of their seats expecting positive results to reinforce their "hahr coach, fahr coach" scientific theory. There's a long-standing narrative around college football (used here quite often) that you don't fire a coach before year three.
I'm interested to see that narrative get a real-world test at a place like Florida State.
Exaggeration it may have been, but she is super handsy and all up in their faces. And that's just what we're seeing on a planned video. That level of intimacy is higher than I would expect from a coach's wife.
