I think there is legit concern about Maurer's durability and how that impacts his health and development. He would have benefited from a RS year to get physically stronger. JG is tough. Ideally, he should have had a week off, as well. The reluctance (borderline refusal) to play Shrout unless absolutely forced to is a headscratcher, but that's what it's going to be.

No way this defense pulls a Dooley and lets a WR playing QB beat them.

No way!!!

Not possible.

Yeah i agree. We should roll Ky.
With the way the defense has been playing i sort of hate having the off week before Missouri. Health wise its important but it seems ever since the UGA game week to week we are building momentum.

Oline didn't play well last night, but I think UAB's Dline is better than folks think... Need to be at full strength here the last three games.

D played well-- did Bituli play, didn't hear his name called ..?

We had to be saving Maurer for the SEC final stretch and Pruitt just needed a win-- JG gave us the best chance, even if it wasn't pretty-- he did okay for just having surgery, but made some stupid late throws obviously... JT is about another full season away in this system. He will probably transfer or even JG may transfer.

RB's did a descent job, but nothing spectacular... was disappointed we couldn't establish the run game more ... we ran better against bama and SC

I am a bit worried about WR play next season. Palmer is going to be the go-to guy and he dropped way too many last night... We need a Jarrett type guy to come in here.

We should win 2 more, but they are not going to be pretty unless we can get that mojo/fire back like we have had ... going on the road will be tough and we will see how much this team wants it.

Tony Fair, UAB DT (6-3, 335#) was a monster against the run inside last night. I noticed they would take him out on 3rd and mid to long when their coaches anticipated a passing play.

I must be the minority, I think JG gives us a better chance to win football games over Shrout. Shrout shows flashes and has potential, but he is not ready.

Our defense is playing dominant football right now. They are why we are winning football games. Pruitt is riding on this defense and playing the guy who he believes is least likely to blow a game. It is conservative, and could be debated, but if it was my choice, I am starting JG over Shrout easily.

Maurer on the other hand opens up the offense due to his natural playmaking ability and his ability move around in/out of the pocket. If he is 100% ready to go, he has to be your QB. His upside is greater than the downside from his inexperience IMO. I can't say that with Shrout.

He has that Group playing well. All the we the fans no better about JG talk is also not putting faith in Chaney. I thinks it’s time we stop the hate and trust this staff. If they make a bowl this will go done as one of hell of a comeback story and a kid playing with 7 staples in his wrist should be applauded not hated.

So let me get this straight. I can’t hate his play and appreciate his toughness at the same time?? Seems like ol Bruin is a part of this cancel culture. Everything is black and white. Smh...

Saw him on the sideline smacking an assistant's hand for having the nerve to fix his shoulder pad, just before the TS dirty hit.

Would love to arrange a private meeting between he and Trey. Sure TS would like to tell him good game, without an audience.
I saw that! Thought what a little brat. Didn't realize it was the same one.

Then you got JG heaving that throw into endzone before half that gets picked off.....cost us at least 3 more points....But Pruitt just slaps him on the wrist and trots him out there in the 2nd half.

He did that against South Carolina too. The same exact play. Pretty sure it’s the okay where JJ almost died

Ok bottom line is we win 2/3 and Pruitt saved the season!

Lets ride with JG he’s one tough son of a gun and he’s even starting to pick up some key third down throws on check downs. Eliminate the one awful throw and he was good tonight.

OL tonight was your wake up call. We can’t get to a bowl game playing like that

Let’s go beat the Cats!!!!

Some people aren't gonna like you saying positive things about JG.
