Sooo...how does everyone feel about the game? I don't wan't to be critical about a game you win by 3 tds...but..we gotta do better than this to beat Mizzou or UK. I hope somebody turns the intensity switch back on.

Pruitt saying (according to the announcers) that JG is the best QB we have "By far" is nuts. Watching the team with him running it is like getting a root canal. It just always feels..like the team is trying to run in foot deep mud. I don't want to dump on him...but dang.
Never going to complain about a win especially of that fashion. QB rotation didn’t make sense to me. Trey smith solidified himself as a 1st round pick with that game, not that he needed it really but he could’ve built an IHOP. Cimaglia is going to be huge for us down the stretch. I have absolutely no idea why we were playing the style of defense the first quarter of the season. We are a man team and can make plays in it. We may give up a big play here or there but i will gladly take that.

Gotta do better than this to beat Mizzou...that is just a fact. Tonights offense will not score on them...period. It will look like the UF game on the offensive side.

According to @Bassmaster_Vol the "by far" comment was a reference that dates back to JP's comments after the BYU game or something like that, in other words hasn't said that recently....... OR JP has got a crack addiction we're just finding out about, one or the other, I'm betting on the first
I hope that is what it is...otherwise Pruitt is a blind fool. Can he really not see what we see during the game? I hope he just held Maurer out to be ready for the real games.

I think we will be able to run behind Trey no matter who we play. I also think maurer will be our QB which then we have a totally different offense full of rpos and shot plays. We took care of business tonight.

Didn't run on UAB worth a crap tonight imo...I mean consistently. Good push on one play, and then blech on the next..Mizzou can play some defense.

If the defense continues to play like they have played the last 6 quarters they have a very good chance of winning out. The obvious concerns with UK and Mizzou obviously are 1} road games, and 2) running QBs. Will be a different kind of challenge. But they are maintaining their assignments and tackling well. Offense just needs to play smart, be efficient, and avoid TOs, and we can win at least 1 of the 2 if not both. Winnning back to back SEC road games is not easy to do though.

We just need one of those...I am pretty sure we are going to throttle Candy...or at least we should.

The Offense is going to have to show up to take one of those two games. I don't think we can count on getting handed the ball on their 40 4-5 times.

I see nothing to complain about.
  • We beat a 6-1 bowl-bound team handily.
  • We easily covered the spread.
  • The game never was in doubt.
  • Their explosive offense that would’ve given us fits a year ago only managed one measly garbage score.
  • We scored 30 on a good defense with a one-armed QB.
  • We have a winning streak.
  • We’ve won 3 out of our last 4.

When you actually stop and look what we have accomplished this year in terms of progress is impressive.

What’s even more impressive is the staffs ability to keep the team and locker room together after that 1-3 start. It was my biggest question mark on this staff after the end of last year.

This seems obvious to me. I'll start worrying about the next game Monday.

To be fair, that announcer couldn’t even say JG’s last name...not sure I believe anything he said lol
