Yep. Maurer's injury means they gotta find a way for JG to regain his confidence. Keeping him in vs UAB and letting him get that win is a step towards that.

With where we've been the last 10 years and with the unexpected start to this season I'm not criticizing CJP for ANY win. The goal is to become bowl eligible at this point. That's all I care about. Don't care how either. Let's go to Kentucky and win!

Well boys, win 2 out of 6 to end this season is in the books. Defense continues to gain more and more momentum. Offense is ugly to watch. Just not a lot of flow to it. Runs much better with Maurer it seems. However, I’m glad we jumped on them early and put it away pretty much by halftime. I’m pretty sure we stayed healthy. Hopefully, some of the starters got a quarter or so of extra rest. I hope Maurer starts next week. Thankful for JG gutting out playing today. Also, why did Jordan get limited reps? Were the coaches trying to steal an extra game of rest to have him ready to pound it next week?

On to Kentucky...shut down the wildcat and any wrinkles they have tried to install in the off week. Jump out early and leave no doubt, like today. Vols win by double digits again next week for #3 out of 6.
