And honestly, I didn't care 24 hours ago if we just won or won big. UAB hates Bama too, so I didn't mind giving them a friendly pass from an embarrassing beatdown.

But after seeing that article today and reminding me they are still arrogant Bammers, eff em all. I hope we run them ragged until they are forces to bend the knee.

Unfortunately no one else has really produced beyond JJ. And the QBs haven't helped until recently.

But if we have realized the long ball is our best weapon and QBs keep going, this group can easily jump to top-25 imo. Ability is there, but have to prove it with production.

Also worthy to note, this is entire receiving corps:
"also the pass-catching ability of the tight ends and running backs on the roster"

We've graded very poorly in RBs and TEs in pass game. Hardly produced. RBs have been lucky to just make the catch it feels half of the time. Don't know what has been up with that. Frustrating given Ty has proven in years past he can house quick passes.

Would be a bit of a slap in the face if Bill comes in and takes us a full 4 quarters. Pruitt don't play that shiz.

It’s just a weird game.

They are 6-1 but haven’t played anyone.

We have been a good team for 3 games and sucked other than that.

Just hard to know if we see what an sec team is supposed to do against a cusa team or not.

This game is about motivation and preparation. Rosters aren’t comparable. If the staff has the team easy to play we win by 3 scores. If they don’t then it’s gonna be a dogfight.

No one is arguing that. But you said there was nothing to gain from it and that is wrong. People respect UAB. OddsShark say they win by 12? UAB writer says they have the advantages. People calling for the upset. Let's make them eat their words.

Also a good opportunity to prove we have moved past the team that early in the season didn't show up for every game. We've proveb we can show up for SEC games, now let's prove we learned our lesson and show up every dang week with passion and fire. Don't want to see drugged Jeremy out there. Want to see the Jeremy from October.

I think this is a little bit of a natural press clippings kind of game where our players might think with the buzz lately that they can just show up and win

No one and I mean no one is going to say with a straight face that tomorrow would be a good win

Maybe it should be considered that but it won’t be because of Cusa and SEC

Pruitt said he, the staff, and the team knows they didn't play that great last week. Lots of mistakes and too inconsistent in many areas. I think they all know they need to get a lot better.

Only if you are delusional and think they are trash and we are elite. I and many others do not at all. They've beaten nearly everyone in front of them for 2 years. They can't control who they face.

The spread is hovering around 10, at home, for a reason. That means at UAB we'd be 3-5 pt favorites. That said, I hope we wipe the floor with them, but that will be even more inpressive.

It's a solid win :straight face:

Could be. Up to staff to prevent that. Roster and talent can’t be used as an excuse for them anymore. It’s been proven on Tape. I forgave them for BYU and GA state. Now they need to win out

Good teams in cusa have never faired well
Against the sec. even if we are at best a middle of the pack sec team we are way better than them

According to the University of Tennessee's Earth and Planetary Sciences Department, approximately 500 million years ago God made The Rock. This is long before the dinosaurs. In fact the earliest animal life on the planet had just gone through the Cambrian Explosion some 20-40 million year before that.

At the time of the creation of The Rock, Gainesville, FL and Columbia, SC were not part of what would end up being the North American continent. There’s also some question about Baton Rouge, La. The rest of us were already here.

I don’t want to imply that in the sharing of this information I’m advocating that we deport Gainesville and Columbia, at least not yet. As a minimum we would need more investigation so as to properly determine if Baton Rouge should also go back to wherever it may have come from.

Obviously this is a random post but I’ve been waiting around for our “Artists” to come do their thing at The Rock in preparation for Homecoming so I had some time to kill.
