I like GA losing to FL and Aub and to Texas again.

Edit: but if anyone can think of a bowl loss that would damage Kirby more, I amend my wish. tyia

Finishes 9-4 while Vols go on a tear and finish 8-5 would be delightful. We might even get some “Oh no’s Jawja gonna come after Pruitt”

On board plane flying back to AZ.

Used to work as a student trainer on the sideline back in 95-97 so being in the stands was different.

Sat in section L and up close to the action. My God, it was AWESOME! Neyland was rockin'!

JJ was a beast. Dude needs at least 15 touches a game. In retrospect, he should have had the ball on that 4th and 1 play at Bama.

Excited about Maurer and Shrout going forward for the rest of the season. Really hope we win out and make a bowl. The Senior class deserves that much.

Best game I could have possibly picked to come see. Already making plans to attend a game next year.

Go Vols!

How is everyone feeling about a rooting interest in the Cocktail Party this weekend? I really hate Florida, but UGA getting knocked out of the CFP race and not even making it to Atlanta in year four of Kirby’s supposed era of domination might just be too good to pass up.
I cannot cheer for Florida. I am currently hating on Bama more, but if the Gators actually make it to the SECC, I might have to pull for Bama if they make it.

Tough call. Dan Mullen much more likeable than Kirby. Plus Cade Mayes is a Dawg, so I will pull for FL.

I hate Florida, too

We’ve gotta get better at red zone offense if we’re gonna win out. We can’t just rely on big explosive plays to score
agreed. lost in the euphoria of the game SAturday, we left another 10 points on the field. it sorta gets made up by the fact MC had the punt return after we held them on the goal line after we whiffed on 4th and goal. but that's not something you can really plan on lol....

but we've left points on the field in multiple games. we've turned it over on downs, missed FG's (not very many though), thrown int's in the endzone etc....

so i totally agree. gotta capitalize when we're down there. we beat BYU if we're better in the red zone. we at least make UF nad Bama sweat some, and we probalby blow MSU out of the stadium.....and USCe would have been a lot closer to over at half time....

i would imagine that's a point of emphasis.............cause if there's one thing you can pick on during our little resurgence here, it's offensive red zone efficiency. it's not very good.

that and how we close out the first half. we gave up cheap points to UGA and USCe on final posessions of the 1st half.

we didn't against bama, but it wasn't for lack of opportunity...we just iced that kid lol. i still love that sequence...to, to, to...shank.....

I still have no idea how mobile that kid is, lol. On one play against Alabama, Shrout looked like he'd never dropped back to pass in his life. Bama showed him some pressure and he tackled himself. But against SC, his footwork on the deep ball to Callaway was perfect. Fakes the handoff, fakes the rollout, plants, and fires a dime. That's not an easy series of moves, and he did it flawlessly. It's hard to figure how both of those plays could have come from the same QB.

That self-tackle was what made me nervous about starting him. He had a great game against SC though. Really, all three - JJ, JG, and JT - had great games.

No doubt it’s not a stat driven thing but I haven’t noticed him getting any push either

To be honest I did notice him on one play...unfortunately he happened to have his back to the line of scrimmage. To be fair I have stopped looking for him during games. Hoping that both him and Savion both take big steps next year/end of this year.
