Jennings has officially moved up into my favorite Vol player of all time. He’s turned himself into a pro and deserves to get paid next year

pump the brakes there.

Andy Kelly, Heath Shuler, Dale Carter, Eric Berry, Peerless Price, Willie Gault, Jesse Mahelona, Montario Hardesty, Darrell Taylor...

not to mention, Condredge & Robert Joshua Dobbers. Think about their impact on the program?

Did i leave anyone off, lol. Does he even need mentioning?

My post game randoms...

  • First things first... I have to say hats off to Jarrett Guarantano. I can't figure the guy out honestly. He played one hell of a game. I don't know what it means and I have zero confidence he can carry it from week to week, but for one night - in a game I specifically desperately wanted to win (work with a lot of uscjr fans so my hatred for that team is amplified), he gave his ALL for Tennessee. Big props to that stadium for not booing him when he came into the game. Honestly that would've been embarrassing and a terrible look.
  • I tweeted a video clip of it and posted it in the game thread, but that 3rd and 14 touchdown to Jennings was epic. The refs were trying soooooooo to f us, but that play put us in the lead for good. Inject that into my veins.
  • Jauan MOTHERF'N Jennings. I have no words that would adequately describe this kids heart and what he means to the team. I love my Vols and theres a lot of players I hold in especially high esteem, but Jennings is definitely on the Mount Rushmore of Vol legends IMO. Its an injustice and strangely, a blessing for us fans, that he's been a part of this era of Vols football. He deserves so much better, but at the same time he's been one of the few bright spots in recent years and has given us so many iconic memories.
  • JT Shrout ...... what can I say. Chaney can work with QB's. We might have something there. I feel good about our QB room all of a sudden. What a difference a week makes.
  • Our upper classmen have been much maligned, and I know we're all excited for when Pruitt has 4 recruiting classes in Knoxville.... but damn the seniors carried the night. Jennings, Calloway, Kennedy, Taylor, Bitulli, .... hell I feel like I'm forgetting some. Many juniors balled out as well. Legit could have 4-5 guys drafted. (Bitulli, Jennings, Calloway, Taylor, someone else)
  • Speaking of juniors - Kivon Bennet is quietly carving himself out a role on this team, and playing pretty damned good. We know he has the pedigree. Now it looks like its being married with elite coaching, and he's starting to develop.
  • I don't have many complaints from our coaching staff last night, as I think that was their best game - and they humiliated uscjr's staff.... BUT I really hope we shelve the third and long defense where we have like 4 down lineman and line 5 db's at the line to gain. It's failed miserably both times its been used - once on a draw once on a bubble screen.
  • Shows how intelligent I am.... I thought the key to winning this game would be like the Missippissi State game.... run run run, quick passes only when necessary. But we threw it all over the field. muschamp usually has strong secondaries. I don't know if they had a lot of injuries, but we had our way with them. Should've stuck with Tennessee, Jaycee.
  • Anyone see that big **** eating grin on fat ass mushchumps face after that opening touchdown? God I hate that man. So glad his squad got its ass kicked.
  • Is Darrel Middleton becoming a defensive lineman right before our eyes?
  • Really couldn't have expected a better environment or end result if you were hosting a lot of recruits. Hope we reap the benefits.
  • Guys.... our Vols are going to be good again - FINALLY!!!!

Thanks, Charger! Found a 95% blockage and put in a stent.

Good deal they were able to find it now. One of the guys at the garage I frequent had the same thing, said he just started feeling more sluggish and exhausted than normal, faster that usual. And would sometimes get light headed, went in to see his regular doctor and they put in a stent and he's made a full recovery.

Less red meat and a bit more cardio and things should be great.

Keyword, MY favorite

Alright brothers and sisters of VolNation, I have a question for everyone. How in the F does Arkansas have 0 penalties for the entire game last night against Bama! Can you say MAKEUP game to control the favoritism talk. That ish is ridiculous man, I saw that this morning and I nearly had a heart attack. 🤦‍♂️ 🤦🤦

Refs didn't need to throw flags for Bama to dominate the game and win.

The third and long D is baffling to me. They line up at the first down marker and then back up when the ball is snapped. It is almost a gimme if they complete the pass.

Also, why did they not go wildcat on 3rd and goal at the one With JJ?

Opening up the O was one of the major differences in this game.

Mustang ?

Did not get to watch a lot of the game. I saw the targeting call and Pruitt’s flag. What were the other officiating issues that happened during the game? Seen a lot of buzz about it but would appreciate if someone could note the specifics. Curious about how the quality of week to week officiating was presented in a game where a week ago the two teams got screwed enough for sankey to issue a, albeit weak, response.
