Does TN still have the lottery scholarships? Don't see why we couldn't talk a few in-staters to take a 1 year pwo then go on full scholarship the next year. We could start taking 30 scholarship-worthy guys a year again and give us a leg up on the competition.

We still do this when there are good candidates. There are numerous scholarships and endowments for qualified SAs. But recruits with multiple P5/SEC offers generally aren't great prospects for this strategy. Some local and in-state kids would rather go out of state than go this route with UT.
