i dont think anyone wants him out there if we're being honest. just may not have a choice.

not looking good for BM to be able to play at this point. assume that doesn't change.....gotta make a decision on who goes out first....

i put JG out there. there's a lot of stuff i think that needs to happen before that with the locker room, and i would imagine/hope that has already taken place. you don't want to put him out there and the team basically throw their hands up.......but assume that's taken care of.....

put JG out there. he gets his shot at redemption RIGHT NOW. and if he goes and takes care of business.....fantastic.

if he doesn't, and things get sideways again.....yank him and put in 12. at least at that point, damage is already done, he can just go play....no pressure at that point.

Understandable but I think watching at least that first offensive series from the sidelines would take a lot of weight off any planned extensive action.

Sounds right on first hearing, but this has been going on for 30 years. John Addled is the ho mother of trolling spawn. His takes have been fifth column for a generation. He was calling the SEC office with rumors to force Majors to kick Cobb off the team 3 days before the bammer game back before Gucci was even born. And still today, Catbone is having to clean his columns up when he sh!ts them on the produce department floor.

eh. i think him and brian rice are little dweebs that think their opinions matter just a bit too much.
that said, at least brian rice is with the right co host...ainge needs a babysitter sometimes, and rice can do that pretty effectively.

I like the locked on vols podcast that Josh Ward does. He carries over some interviews from his gig on the sports animal, but usually it is just the guest talking about UT and very rarely his cohost (if you aren't a fan). I think he is balanced in his thoughts on UT.

Yeah agreed about that for Rice...not sure if I do for Josh, but maybe I just never listened to him much. Since he's been paired with who he has.

John Wilkerson is pretty much the only voice I can stomach.

but you're right, and i don't necessarily blame them for trying to be impartial given what they're doing nationally.

having said that i've seen Parker visibly root for TN in the tourney, and she's not been shy about aligning herslef with Rocky Top at all. DAvis, he's not overt with it, but when has the opportunity, he'll let you know where he's from.......

i've seen Gene do it as well. well timed as you would expect, but he's not in an analyst role where he's given some rope to expound and given anecdotes from past experiences...when asked, he will. past that, he's on the straight and narrow.

same with mcgee and shipman...i've seen them both reference their UT background, in the right context.

finebaum...well, he only does it when it suits HIM....which is fine. that's his schtick.....

i wish they'd all show up to work one day wearing orange checkerboard overalls on, with UT bucket hats on, with Rocky Top blaring in the background while on a boat participating in the Vol Navy.

Candace wears her heart on her sleeve, but she can be critical in a fair way. And she doesn't downplay the other team or take cheap shots, like others do. (Jordan Rodgers, that would be you.) She's relatable and people like her for it. Davis and Maddi are both good announcers-- they represent well; they're just subtle about it. Every year, Finebaum seems to get more venomous toward UT. I wish Bama would give him an honorary degree and make it official.

Anyone that would be interested there is some interesting stuff from Paul Kaharsky with Frank Wycheck.

I didn’t realize it but Frank went dark secluding himself with deep depression

Apparently the brother in law or brother of the side judge in our game is spouting off on social media. There is a tweet in the FF where he responds to the criticism. It is pretty clear of his dislike for UT.
