Hot take: Buffalo style hot wings are the only wings that should count.

Seriously, traditional style hot wings are top five for my favorite meals (pork bbq, grilled salmon, crab cakes and steak being the other), but no other wing flavors (bbq wings, teriyaki, Parmesan, etc) do anything for me.

You never put chicken, including wings, on the grill with bbq sauce? Hard for me to believe.

I’ve had smoked wings. The big ones where it’s more like smoked chicken are really good. But traditional wings? Bbq just doesn’t do anything for me.
