They will always have my support. But it does not mean I have to ruin a Saturday with my family to get a nut punch from watching that loser lose us every game he plays in. I will give my ticket to another Vol fan and root for them. But I’m not going to ruin a whole day with my family and getting upset at a loss with him as our QB. Losers find ways to lose and that is what JG is. I can guarantee you the players are over him and they won’t fight for him like they did Maurer.
Was there ever an explanation to Pruitt, tweet, or anything to explain why they stopped the wildcat? They gathered , dispersed, and moved on like nothing happened and JP was just pissed. I didn't see them even talk to himIt was much more than just flags in this game to. Stopping the play on the wildcat, missing the roughing call on Maurer, spotting the ball three yards behind where our run got to, etc... It was the most corrupt officiating I have ever seen and I am not one to ever blame a game on officiating.
Hmm...maybe Pruitt and the coaches know he’s ok and will start, but are going to withhold info, so that SC has to prepare for 2 QBs.BRIAN NIEDERMEYER ON THE STATUS OF FRESHMAN QUARTERBACK BRIAN MAURER
“Oh, Maurer? He’s a great kid. Anybody else (with a question)?”![]()
i don't think they do. i think more than anything it's about not having much of a choice...it's him, BM who hasn't proved to be overly secure with the ball nor can he stay healthy, and shrout, who they haven't trusted at all......at any point apparently. Its the performance and the lack of any awareness and not sense to seeing downfield..........................but you can possibly get over those things. You cant get over him running rogue with ****, which he has done before. I dont see how CJP and CJC can even start to trust him.
It was clearly to take 7 points off the board for us. There was no other explanation. Rigged. Was there ever an explanation to Pruitt, tweet, or anything to explain why they stopped the wildcat? That is how they roll. Call some in garbage time for the stats guys. But also bammers PI infractions were so over-the-top with the arm around the waist pulling! The numbers absolutely lie about how the refs stole our win......{snip} The penalty margin closed in the 2nd half as Bama got flagged a few times to "make it even" so 13 vs 8 both for 93 yards, but ultimately one played shifted it from a 1 score last possession drive to a 2 score game over final drive.
Not that I know of. It looked like one ref really wanted to call a flag for something and then they decided what they could call in order to have an excuse for stopping the play. Was there ever an explanation to Pruitt, tweet, or anything to explain why they stopped the wildcat? It's just too bad that the Birmingham officiating crew stole the big Bama win. Only chance Pruitt will have to feed Saban rat poison about scoring 100 points and bringing sheer hell and beating him under his own disco lights.Seems odd to say it but I'll feel okay about even 4-8 as long as we are competitive the rest of the year. Said Pruitt needed to show something, and I think he has. The QB situation is going to really hurt the team because right now we don't have one. If Maurer was healthy and could stay healthy I would feel decent about 5-7 or 6-6, but I think that position is going to cost us games we should win.
Honestly though, everything is just setting up for a huge leap forward next year. I think we win at least one out of the OU/UF/UGA/Bama gauntlet, and then in 2021 we'll be a legit upper-tier SEC team.
Yeah, but he has already laid the groundwork for it being completely in the medical staff's hands. I have no clue what the extent of BM's injury is, but CJP has made it clear that the medical staff will be the ones making the call.....at least publically. If we start Maurer this week and he hurts his head again the national media will kill Pruitt fair or unfair
eh...i might pump the brakes on that a tad. they get ARK and a week off before they see LSU in Tuscaloosa. plenty of time to get the back up ready. and it's not like there's not weapons galore.....i think Bama can definitely still compete with them. They’ll blow Bamas doors off, especially if Tua isn’t playing
I think I'd go with Jenningsi don't think they do. i think more than anything it's about not having much of a choice...it's him, BM who hasn't proved to be overly secure with the ball nor can he stay healthy, and shrout, who they haven't trusted at all......at any point apparently.
i mean...i'd go with Shrout right now if BM can't go. and i'mi not convinced they won't. but i'd be hard pressed to imagine that we're gonna make it the rest of the way w/only 1 QB playing..........that's all i'm getting at. it's depth....
