Same reason I didnt understand why they werent putting BM out there after it was clear that JG couldnt get it done....at all. You know what you have with JG and then top that off with the ****head is running his own plays and going rogue, how can you not at least just throw JT out there? I would be ok with JG playing if he hadnt pulled the rogue ****, there is just no excuse for that and you cant trust him to do simple things, like run the play that is called. JMO

I understand all of this. I don't get it, either, tbh. But, I know our coach is doing what he thinks is best. You can still support the team without agreeing with the decision, no?

Yep.

Unfortunate that JG is so incredibly horrible, and a selfish player on top of that. He almost entirely alone destroyed our season and therefore our recruiting class putting us back yet another year. Just Vols luck

If I have supported the team after some of the **** the last 12 plus years, I will still support them by trotting out JG ( I wont like it at all).

Team is good enough to win with anyone at QB.

First of the season poor play at that position cost us 2 games we should have won, most people won't argue that. But the team that played Saturday night is good enough everywhere else that they can win against USC without an elite QB performance.

Defense keeps them from scoring, and the running game moves the ball we'll be eating up chunks of yardage and feast in the 2nd half. This OL will take over the game and I expect the RBs can break a few TD runs off.

true. but we haven't had a ton of designed runs since then either. most are scrambles or just sacks. it's really only been this year that we've seen some of hte wild cat stuff and some semblance of designed runs for either BM or JG, and it's still not been a ton.

but just straight up run sets...RB and OL production....i'd say we've improved....a lot actually.

We beat them Saban in Tuscaloosa on Saturday. That games needs an asterisk by it in our official records and press information henceforth.

lol. actually, i wasn't that bad this year. i did find myself watching more intently this game than any other so far. and i did find myself upset more than the other games...but yeah, i attribute that to Bama than anything else.

i hate GA and FL.

but nothing still comes close to Bama. every year...same thing....i forget how much i hate them til we're on the field together at the same time. and then.........it all comes back. i haaaaaate Alabama.

Tim is finally "getting it" mentally. Game is slowing down for him. He's finally learning how to read where the hole is opening up and how to let blocks develop instead of just smashing it in there. He also is hitting the hole faster when it does open up.

It's nice to have him step up because after the first couple of games, I considered him our 3rd option behind Chandler and Gray. He might have worked himself to be the #1 back right now.
