Same reason I didnt understand why they werent putting BM out there after it was clear that JG couldnt get it done....at all. You know what you have with JG and then top that off with the ****head is running his own plays and going rogue, how can you not at least just throw JT out there? I would be ok with JG playing if he hadnt pulled the rogue ****, there is just no excuse for that and you cant trust him to do simple things, like run the play that is called. JMOPeople are saying that they don't understand why it's not Shrout. You, yourself said, that we are screwed, or something to that effect. People are calling JG a loser, saying they're not going to watch. We all want BM to play. If JG starts Saturday, over Shrout, that's all I need to know. The staff thinks he gives us the best chance to win.
I understand all of this. I don't get it, either, tbh. But, I know our coach is doing what he thinks is best. You can still support the team without agreeing with the decision, no?Same reason I didnt understand why they werent putting BM out there after it was clear that JG couldnt get it done....at all. Yep.This is exactly what I took from it as well. I don't see any way Maurer plays Saturday. We're screwed. There's no way JG beats SC imo. We'll be lucky to score unless we can run the ball at will.
If I have supported the team after some of the **** the last 12 plus years, I will still support them by trotting out JG ( I wont like it at all).I understand all of this. Callaway pushin his ass down the field. I lol'dIt is laughable that the "expert" who reviewed it for the network said that because the DB was content to run with the WR all the way down the field, that it was justified not to call holding. If these dudes are going to do nothing but protect their brethren who clearly miss calls during the game, the networks need to let them go and not pay them for their obvious bias.
true. but we haven't had a ton of designed runs since then either. most are scrambles or just sacks. it's really only been this year that we've seen some of hte wild cat stuff and some semblance of designed runs for either BM or JG, and it's still not been a ton.QB "rushing" yards kill us almost every game. Miss St may have been our first positive since Dobbs.
We beat them Saban in Tuscaloosa on Saturday. That games needs an asterisk by it in our official records and press information henceforth.Yet I had a Bama fan trying to tell me on FB I was making excuses once again, and what excuses am I making up for next year already. Then brags that we have never beaten Saban at Bama. Blah blah blah. Please please please, let us drag them in Knoxville next year!
lol. actually, i wasn't that bad this year. i did find myself watching more intently this game than any other so far. and i did find myself upset more than the other games...but yeah, i attribute that to Bama than anything else.People with anger issues say they blackout and can't remember much of their episodes.
I'm pretty sure that is how every UT fan experiences watching the Alabama game.
Yes, he's been coached up.Tim is finally "getting it" mentally. Game is slowing down for him. He's finally learning how to read where the hole is opening up and how to let blocks develop instead of just smashing it in there. He also is hitting the hole faster when it does open up.
It's nice to have him step up because after the first couple of games, I considered him our 3rd option behind Chandler and Gray. He might have worked himself to be the #1 back right now.
