Kivon Bennett needs some props as well. He did very well Saturday night.
agreeed on that too. he's been coming on for the past 3 weeks or so. happy for him as well....

but i think it goes to show the DL in general is improving......developing....and i'd expect now with the "tough" part of the schedule over, things should continue to slow down for them.....hope they just keep getting better....

watching them the last three weeks, getting Gooden back and adding who we might be able to add in this class gives me some serious hope about our defensive front next year. i mean....everybody is back.......and they're getting better now.

losing Taylor and Bituli will be a big deal at LB. but i think our front 7 all in all could be a strength potentiall next season. combine that with what is already a decnet back end, and you could see the defense be pretty damn stout next season.

Isn’t it crazy that players actually develop. Some guys take 1 year, some 2, some 3. We have forgotten this as we have relied on freshmen to be our saving grace for too long.
The OL and the front 7 have definitely developed. HT has made dramatic improvement from the beginning of the season til now, its been impressive to watch.

Agree.

'member when he was a bust in the spring? i do. lol.

Yep. Really like the development of the DL. Garland and Middleton are coming on, as well. With a healthy Gooden back next year, incoming freshmen and this years RS’s adding depth...could be the strength of the defense next year..

He's so good at fishing. Throws out the bait and they bite, daily.

Today is about defending our players and families from being DIRECTLY attacked on twitter. That’s NEVER right and Tennessee fans should be better than that. Obviously one of our own isn’t better than that.
It’s shameful

Just have to game plan for them a lot like we did for Miss St. to limit Feaster, but the MSU game show'd we were more than capable of putting a damper on a teams star RB
If we disrupt the LOS like we did the past two weekends, I think we should win. Helsinki is a great qb with time, but his mobility is limited right now. Need to keep him on the ground. I think we may struggle if their backup comes in though.

Big question mark is, can we score enough? Need finish big plays. We've had too many chunk plays not go the distance.

Completely disagree with all of this and your opinion makes real fans ashamed to wear the same colors as you

In no way should a player or family member ever have to go to social media and read criticism directed directly at themselves or their son or daughter until they are getting paid to play

Your take is shameful and I pray your kids aren’t criticized on social media for bad play during a sporting event.

Btw there is a big difference between tweeting a criticism and tweeting one directly tagging that person. That’s when it’s personal, completely unacceptable and a scumbag act

I've literally never tweeted a player. But, no member has to go through social media criticism.

They can just get off social media, make their profile private where only friends and family can read their tweets, or they can put on big boy/girl pants and not let the opinions of strangers affect their daily life.

I got off twitter a few years ago and am so much happier for it.

People are fully in charge of what they put out and take in and there is zero requirement in life to be on Twitter. Besides, Twitter causes societal cancer.

I’ve been on twitter for years but don’t know the answer to this.

Is there a way to stop a compete stranger from tweeting directly at a person without just blocking them?

I really want to read PRs Kingkiller Chronicles...but since Martin has pissed me off so bad, it has made me very wary of starting another unfinished epic. I do love the Wheel of Time. I hope PR doesn't decide to take Martins "life sucks, then you get tortured, then raped and pillaged, then tortured some more...then if you're lucky you are allowed to die" approach to his story. I am not reading the rest of tSoIaF precisely because of that philosophy of Martins. I get enough real in real life, and there are real heroes worth honoring in the world.

Rothfuss has made it clear from the beginning not to expect a happy ending based on Kvothe's telling of his story....no clue what happens in the current line of events.

I wouldn't be too worried though. Rothfuss doesn't seem to share GRRMs sadistic love of horrifying his readers.

It's been a few years since I've been on, but when I was, if your profile was private, no one could see your tweets to tweet at you or retweet and I think that you would not see a notification if you were mentioned by someone who didn't follow you. Even if the last part is no longer the case, making your profile private deny's people the ammunition.

every time i see this gif i have to wonder whats going through ol' chad's head over there. are they together? does he know who she is? looks like a guy trying his hardest to disappear into the wallpaper and i just really want to know his story.

The stoppage of play when we shifted to wildcat and this phantom holding penalty are things that I still just cant get my head around. There could be arguments for some of the other horrible calls, but these two I just dont get it.

And it would’ve completely changed the game. Especially when you in the roughing the passer.

I love Locke Lamora. Extremely good. I am definitely ready for the next book. Memory, Sorrow and Thorn might be my very favorite. I love Tad Williams. The history and races he creates for his world are absolutely fantastic. He has started a second trilogy to Memory... called The Witchwood Crown, I think. He has released two of those books.

First read Memories, Sorrow and Thorn series in mid 90s when I was 12 and loved them. Didn't know there was a new trilogy... time to re-read and check out his new stuff. Great author.

well, i thought that was good. that game is over, he trusts his players, he's confident in JG, and hasn't wavered on that.

i would imagine they had a pretty good conversation yesterday. and i would imagine that he isn't done playing, assuming BM can't go at any point left this season.

all in all, i think everybody knows what happened, and pruitt has probably handled it as good as you can publically. you just can't throw a kid under the bus. can't.

and he took the high road again with the refs, mostly.....don't fault him there, but it'd of felt good to hear him say "yeah, they sucked, here's why, let me show you..." lol.

Sorry but you are now suggesting that in this case JGs dad be muted to be able to ignore the crazies and that’s way wrong. In his particular case he’s been a very positive contributor to Tenn and it’s recruiting efforts even as recently as last week which I found a little surprising with all that’s happened. Making his account private Eliminates the positive a family member even if you think muting them is ok.

I agree the players and family members shouldn’t read all that’s said about them and if they choose to do so that’s their fault. But when it’s DIRECTLY coming into their accounts where they have to read it if they want to participate in social media like a Majority of people that’s where it’s dead wrong and shameful.
