My advice to David is if you are a UT sports guy stop denigrating the damn team and staff all the time. It’s frankly embarrassing that our media attacks our team and staff so often. Our local media plays a huge part into how the national media perceives our athletic programs. No wonder we are a damn laughing stock and considered a joke by the national pundits. Our own guys clown us daily!

********, you knew exactly what you were doing. You have been doing this passive aggressive garbage for weeks and this was just another in a long line of trolling tweets aimed at this Tennessee. We may be a loud and obnoxious fanbase but we aren't ****ing stupid.

To be a journalist, you lack awareness. Maybe you should just write and not tweet. You come across as pompous and half empty 95% of the time. It’s like you’ve drank from the same toilet water as the rest of the Knoxville media. Take a look at Joe Klatt’s tweet. It’s okay to have an opinion FOR the team you cover.

Take away the horrible calls and no calls, and we were the better team LAST NIGHT. That doesn't mean we're a better team overall, but last night, yeah, we were the better team. I think we win without the poor officiating. Even JG's dumbassery came about because of the poor officiating. Yeah, he made the poor choice, but officiating led to him being in that position.

Exactly! Aholes like Ubben, Adams, Hyams who love to bite the hand that feeds them doesn't happen in other places like Tuscaloosa, Clemson, Columbus, Athens, etc. It just doesn't. But for some reason many local Knoxville reporters feel the need to bad mouth the team, coaches, talk doom and gloom, etc for clicks. Instead of help promote the program in a positive way and help the national perception. It's ridiculous. I wouldn't let any of those dbags near the program if I were in charge. Let those guys starve or find a new team to cover.

Was in the fire Pruitt camp early in the year because I felt he wasn’t the same coach we hired. The fire looked gone.

The last two weeks, he has been different. He has looked like a football coach fighting for his team and not accepting boneheaded miscues. Still think we are two years from a real chance to win against Bama.

If he continues, we have a long term coach. He needs to keep that intensity to get us back to top 10 status. Future on D is very bright.

We should start a similar campaign as CheckerNeyland to boycott those trying to tear us down. Freedom of speech works both ways.

Good take. We, as fans, are acutely aware of how bad our team has been. No need for the local media to rub salt in the wounds.

correct, someone needs to step up in the UT admin and put an end to this crap. They would be banished from any other big time program
