Yea he is and that’s a big part of the reason they had success but he also made them step up their facilities and money where they can sustain it. But just like other programs even elites, have to have a great coach to do that. They don’t have one. Don’t understand why you would immediately hire a proven a failure from inside the division.
They’ve kind of been in the same spot as us - we’ve needed a hot-shot alum to hand the keys to but that candidate never really materialized. The closest thing is probably Tee - then Jim Bob.

Also, while I don’t think he’s done a very good job, somehow I think we might slightly underrate Muschamp. What really stinks for South Carolina is it was down to Kirby, Lincoln Riley it Muschamp and Spurrier put in a good word for Muschamp.

Georgia's program about to implode. Kirby lack of player development is starting to shine bright now that all of Richt/Pruitt recruits have officially left the roster. Cade Mays looking terrible right now. Fromm looking trash while Justin Fields is carving up every team he's playing. It's amazing whats going on.

Maybe you know more than me but if Spurrier would have waited a little bit before he took that Carolina job, he could have went to LSU. That would have been bad news.

Mississippi St may struggle to get to a bowl. They have wins left Arkansas, ACU (whatever that is).

A&M, Alabama, Ole Miss

They're lucky they are playing a team literally without a QB. UGA will end up winning by a lot.

I thought Kirby turned that down?

He might have - I’m under the assumption they could’ve upped the offer in order to get in done, but maybe not.
My recollection was that Georgia ultimately decided to pull the trigger on Richt because they thought Kirby was close to taking the South Carolina job.
