Everyone here agrees if he isn’t completely cleared from his concussion, don’t play him. That’s a straw man argument. What you seem to really be saying is, “we can’t beat Bama, so sit him.” You just don’t want to get roasted for saying it.
There are times where the music makes it feel like the end of wedding crashers or something, yet it’s a gangster show...idk..love the story and characters...music seriously makes me cringe at times.
it’s several different players. This all went down last year. I’ve heard Swain talk about it several times. Basically guys was missing more time than they should. Look how many routine cleanup procedures we have had in the past few months without any significant time missed. It’s way better now.
It’s coming tonight! We are overcoming all adversity and winning in their own house at night to shock the world. They are more worried about a light show than the VOLS.I’m pretty sure I have enjoyed over half of the third Saturdays in October The Good Lord is going to bless me with so I am not about to throw one away tomorrow. I’m going to enjoy it no matter what
With that said I’m going to take a trip down memory lane.
82 is the first memory I have of the 3rd Saturday in October. Sitting around a radio listening to John Ward call the victory with my GrandFather. Man oh man what I’d do to have this one day over again.
85 is the next memory. Dale Jones Just grabbed it out of mid air and Little ole Van tiffin couldn’t get it done
87or 88 I Remember that damn Toss sweep over and over and over and over again
91 I went to the 9-6 game with my Dad. I remember walking what seemed like miles to the car afterword and still hearing those bastards cheering Roll Tide.
94 I remember very distinctly walking out of Neyland stadium saying with 110% confidence the Vols were coming and that Bama wasn’t going to beat us again for a long time
And in 95 it took one glorious play to prove that true. Touchdown on play number 1
The 2008 game was SO hard to swallow. Fulmer was on his way out and Bama fans really were plentiful in Neyland that day.
Not many memories worth noting in the last decade but no doubt in my mind the Third Saturday in October will return to its rightful place on college football soon. Maybe not soon enough but It’s coming!
GBO!!!
Fellow redshirt freshman wide receiver Jordan Young saw his second action of the season, but played just two snaps. Both snaps were running plays.
No fool like an old fool, but this one is leaving to drive through the tropical storm to get to HHI before the really bad stuff hits. Will wave at the USCe/UF fans brave enough to sit through a 12 PM game time at Columbia in the mess.
word, should have used howlin wolf or some such rather than modern music, this last season felt like the writing was getting stale, the protagonist (Murphy) embraces socialist / communist ideals, while the antagonist, supposedly "right wing" embraces the Nazi's (socialists). Meanwhile Murphy is successful through his black market capitalist ventures, and certainly doesnt give his income away as every communist should. Totally misconstrues history: yes there was a brief flirtation with those ideals in many European countries for a few decades until it wrecked their economies. Its like the writer obtained his understanding of history at that time from the Guardian rather than the Road To SerfdomReally like Peaky Blinders through 2 seasons, but gotta say, don’t feel the music really fits for the Intro/theme.
Took the dog out for his morning pee and it's such a perfect fall morning. Cold, crisp air...feels like football weather. And I realized I don't have any of my favorite fall morning beer in the fridge and now I know what I have to do today...
