Happens every year. Every offseason folks pretend like they're trash and can't understand why the "experts" give them so much credit. Then the season starts.

Nick Bolton SO

Composite ratings of 80, 83, and 84. Low 3 stars. They had 4 combined SEC offers outside of Mizzou.

How the hell does Mizzou do it?

Pulaski Academy where the Henry brothers are from. We played them in high school. They’re good. System works at the high school level. Would be interesting to see it put to use at higher levels of football.

It’s been a weird season, USC while beating GA, also lost to UNC. We’ll see when MIZZ play more consistent good teams.

Bigger question is how does Wisconsin do it? They only have like 3 players rated a 4 star or better and have pitched 4 shutouts this year, plus they are a top 10 team. I don’t care if they were crappy teams, that is difficult to do period. It basically takes a game with no mistakes defensively.

Georgia State was a total freak fluke..in the grand scheme it means nothing, because it was not treated as real game...we play that game again this week and beat them by 50.

You may actually be right on Vandy at least. VU is 95th in sp+, while uab is 93rd. More of a testament to just how bad vandy is though. Both teams stink really.

I have a feeling those viking dudes up there are constantly underrated out of HS. They win on the LOSs with big viking mfers

Their 2 best are the only LBs in the entire conference to get elite ratings for coverage, the area our LBs are strongly dinged in. Ignont, HT, Bituli are in the bottom 10 in coverage in the league [eyeballemoji]

Have to wonder if facing their own offense prepares them better than others for the RPO game.

Barry Odom was the LB coach before becoming the HC. I would say he is the real reason they perform well.
