Also after the touchdown,Maurer was the only QB celebrating with all of the wide receivers,OL and Some Defensive players including Tyler Byrd after his catch,on the sideline and there is a whole video of that😁

I don't think those are self imposed penalties. The NCAA popped them and put them on three years probation and gave the guys involved 8 game penalties. They allowed State to determine when the penalties would be accessed.

Should not have said anything last night and regretted right after I posted. We had a good win. Let it go. Not to mention Bruin will lecture us for the next 35 months..

This group is going to be the benchmark of the team over the next several years. This is how it used to be.....all of our great teams had dominate OL’s. The fun is about to begin!!

Think people need to back off a little on Friend. For the most part, his offensive line has been very much improved. First time in what seems like forever they're consistently getting push. I'm sure some of that has to do with Chaney, but given Friend's track record his lines always improve.

I agree. I rewatched this weekend and really paid attention to both OL and DL. Both lines are improving quite a bit. Friend and Rocker might not be so bad after all, eh, VN?

I was telling people that Saturday. We've been hard on Rocker, but he's taken a thrift store DL crew and made them pretty decent. Looked fantastic on Saturday. Criticism on his recruiting may be warranted, but his position group arguably needed the most work and they have looked better each week.

Yeah, but there’s Vols on just about every team, too. I can still root for all of them to do well. With the free agent era of pro football, I just find it hard to follow a team. I just consistently hate the Patriots and that’s about it.

When stuff isn't going well, the lazy solution people come to is just "fire em." Let these coaches coach and give them time. Trust Pruitt.
