I think it would be wise to red shirt him but definitely give him the 4 games to play and see what he has.Bailey is the future but Brian could be also once he gets the experience and feel for the game.he has a lot of heart for the game when he plays,I think he’s earned that much to have the opportunity to lead this team.he does a lot of good things when he plays but has freshman mistakes also.just gotta work the kinks out.

Lot to be excited about with Maurer. He has that natural leadership and zest for the game...nothing’s too big for him. I wouldn’t try to take too much of that balls to the wall mentality away from him just advise him on recognizing when there are no more yards to get and respect gravity. Also the past two games shouldn’t have scared any competition away.

Not to me..Henry is shorter which put him at his chinstrap but if you watch it till the end,he extended his arms he never lead with the crown of his helmet.those types of calls or tough unless it’s obvious.

You can’t hit a QB in the facemask after a throw. That’s one of the definitions of targeting
