Not too much to it. We were up there for almost 3.5 hours. No communication from Disney at all really, just the same ridiculous recording about a temporary delay. Towards the end a new recording played and said that we could use the emergency kit on each car if necessary. Which we did in our gondola to get the kids water. We were actually stuck with more Vol fans from Crossville. The gondola right behind us was rescued by a ladder truck from the fire department which made our kids start wondering why they weren't getting us out. I was misty disappointed in the lack of communication from Disney during the event. They had the ability to speak to passengers in the gondolas and didn't. Additionally the in car emergency box's didn't work. Apparently when you pushed the button you weren't connected to a dispatcher but you could hear people in other gondolas panicking. I was also disappointed when it was all over we were told we could walk to our vehicle through a closed Epoct park at 1130 pm. At that point I had been st the park for 15 hours and was hoping one of Disney's 700 golf carts could have given us a lift.
