No, I’m guessing they were encouraged to do so behind the scenes. VolNation keeps showing up - holding up our end of the deal...and the AD knows it. They need us to stay engaged, right now the fanbase and the resulting atmosphere in Neyland is the only guaranteed in the program. I think the players genuinely feel bad and are working hard to fix it - they seem to understand how much UT football means to so many people. I find it encouraging

I think we underestimate how much they feel the hate when it’s there. It sucks to be talked s*** about, even if you live or work in a public space and have a thick skin. So when the crowd is up like it was, that has to feel amazing given the ugliness of prior feedback.

I think it really is a big deal to them that we didn't give up on them. And I think it's a big deal for the recruits looking at becoming a Vol.

Me too. The fanbase needs to support these guys. Giving upon on Pruitt right now is stupid. Keep showing up and supporting. These guys will get better.

I gotta give JJ a shout out. That boy would do his damndest to win a **** shoveling race if it meant he could be a TN Vol. I hate it for him that his time here hasnt amounted to much team wise but he has delivered some of the most memorable moments during his time on the hill. Hope he gets his shot in the league. Wont be many that will outwork him.
