Take away our extremely lucky busted coverage on the Callaway deep ball...the game was not close man. We had a good quarter and a half, which was encouraging, but this was a blowout that just took a little longer to get started than we expected.
Mullen is a good football coach. I've noticed a few have tried to take away from what he did at Mississippi State and now Florida. What he's accomplished is nothing short of impressive. Florida and Georgia aren't coming down anywhere close to our level. Pruitt and company will have to rise to the occasion. These words stink coming out of my face, but Mullen is impressing me.
He came out with Jones and was still aggressive, immediately taking a shot downfield. He is so good at creating mismatches and having dudes wide open everywhere. His goofy positive demeanor probably keeps the team in good spirits.
Seeing him be the first dude in front out the Tunnel running out and how much energy he Plays with is so much fun to watch. Why am I not surprised? Go to an actual game. What we saw last night even in the sideline is night and day from other games this year. It’s not the coaches that gave the juice. It was that 18 was on the field as a leader and 2 wasn’t. 2 is a good kid and has skills but you can’t make someone be a leader. They have it ingrained in them or not.
Exactly like that haha. With a much better result.
LOL if a WR is that wide open, it wasn't all skill, the defense made a mistake. If it were all dependent on skill and route running, we would be able to get open like that every play. Was all skill by Maurer to throw it perfectly, but Marquez would not have been that open of the DBs hadn't messed up.
I didn’t see that as a buster coverage. They bit on a double move, maurer extended the play and moved the pocket to appear it was a flood out when Calloway broke out the safety bit and it was a TD all the way.
Let’s see tho Chavis. Muschamp and McElwain both had a lot of early success only to be fired 10 minutes later
Eh idk there’s loads of talent close to Gainesville and Mullen has a history of finding ways to win without consistently bringing in top recruiting classes. He’ll probably keep them top 2-3 in East for the foreseeable future. He’s a good game day coach. Recruiting not so much and the attrition he had this past class and kids not making it in was never going to be felt this year. It will be in the future. If he continues that path, he will not succeed long term. But, he schemes very well.
What I saw in person was a different team and mindset and a QB who can sling it and my son having a great time and seeing and hearing the old Neyland. So heck yeah, encouraged and hopeful fun times in our FUTURE if he keeps recruiting and can build it. Also, Trey is playing. You said he never would again. Just go away if every post is going to be your piss poor attitude. We have NOT arrived and problem I have is you seem to enjoy it and gleefully point it out with every post you make.

It was. It is in the bylaws. Whether retroactive or not has been my question, but don't see why not.So we are sure this was adopted???
If so was it adopted and made retroactive to current players or just the incoming players when adopted?
I think it’s more likely that Bama is going to sign off that he was injured in his first redshirt year while there thus giving him a 6th year.
TBH we just need to fill out the roster with passable talent and get back to 8 win seasons for a while before we can start talking about being top of the east.Hope recruits saw potential to play here. We really are just 1-2 more classes from being at the top of the East. Keeping faith.
It’s as if Gainesville isn’t Starkville.
