Yea. The defense has me scratching my head. I realize we are devoid of talent but we seem to be worse than last year and don't seem to be getting better. We're about as vanilla as you can be. Pruitt was supposed to be one of the best defensive coordinators in cfb. Fundamentals are bad too.

Yeah I'll give him having better vision and he's probably more shifty but he's goes down quickly. They can't run on teams like UGA but like others have said they need to get Chandler/Gray in space. UGA was bringing the blitz all night. Could have been big plays off them.

You can teach a bad player how to play even if he can’t do it once the ball is snapped.

Just got home the first half was a lot of fun too many misses opps in the second half but Maurer at least looked like he cared and made tough throws, i think we have something cookin there.

Starting to really wonder if the Ansley hire was a good one. Don't think it would be the worst thing in the world if Pruitt took it back over. Not many guys call a better defense than Jeremy.

Will be a good 3rd down back when he puts weight on. He gets blown up in pass protection right now and is too light to effect a blitzer on a chip block coming out of the back field.

I'd find ways to line him up in slot and get a LB covering him on slants or shallow out routes.

UT fans were amazing during the first half. Created a great atmosphere and represented well. Carry that energy into MSU and SCAR with a QB and OL that will continue to get better every week and SRs that are showing up, and we can still make something out of this season.

Are the Seniors coming around? I had heard they were pretty disconnected all offseason. Completely unwilling to participate in anything that wasn’t absolutely mandatory. Just checked out for the most part.
