It's working out ok for GA Southern and Appy St.

WKU has been decent enough since joining FBS. GSU joined the same year....

Not only did GSU join FBS that same year, it was the FIRST YEAR EVER for a football program at GaSt. Let that sink in.

I hope Tennessee is in Tampa playing Penn State in the Outback Bowl;) The Taxslayer Bowl Gator wouldn't be a bad trip:)

Not saying Tennessee goes to a bowl.......but just playing a B10 opponent gives them a better chance to win (if they were to go).

From what I saw on Saturday Tennessee will be in a fight to win 2-3 games.
That's too optimistic. If they bring that same level of effort/execution to every game this year, they might beat UTC. Maybe.

I really never thought there'd be a day where a Tennessee football team would play down at that level. Georgia St should be a team where every player could play the worst game of their life and you still win by a couple TDs.

Sadly Tennessee,Vanderbilt and Arkansas are the worst teams in the SEC this season

Exactly; that's why all this stuff about Pruitt needed "his" players and all before we can judge him is complete bunk. If he can't beat a bad Sun Belt team with the talent he has right now, then that's a major red flag.

Yep. "Pruitt needs his players" is understandable after a close road loss at South Carolina, or a drubbing by a clearly more talented team. That doesn't fly after a loss to Georgia St.

I feel your pain. Matt Rhule lost his first game as HC at Baylor to Liberty. Our local sunshine pumping homers gave us some crap excuses about Saban losing his first game as coach at Bama lol. Then Matt "Jersey" Rhule (he's actually from NY) promptly followed up that loss by losing to Texas-SA in route to a 1-11 season.

Rhule likes to spout off about turning down the Oregon job to come to Baylor. I still wish he had taken the Duck's job and that we had hired Dino Babers, Les Miles or Mack Brown instead...they all wanted the job.

Maybe Rhule will FINALLY get one of those NFL jobs he applies for every offseason or Penn St will take him off our hands. Hell, if Kingsbury can get an NFL gig so can Rhule.

Chip Kelly is not only a terrible head coach these days but he looks like one of the most unlikable, sour, guys you could play for. Maybe one is the extension of the other.
