Vols, Dolphins, Cubs and Jazz........other than the 98 National Championship and The 2016 World series my sports fandom is full of disappointment. My only joy right now is the fact that The Cubs have more World Series Championships this decade and century than The Braves.
At least I have the Red Wings, but they've been down for several years

I'd say we knew he was in over his head by year -1 when he had a losing record at La Tech...smh. Worst process-driven hire of all time. I don't care if he had lucked into an SECC here, it was the worst hire one can imagine. Un-i-mag-in-able
I’ll never forget the scroll down at the bottom on ESPN once the news Kiffin was leaving was digested.

Something like: “ESPN’s Chris Low reports that Kyle Whittingham, David Cutcliffe, Gary Patterson, Troy Calhoun and Derek Dooley are all expected to be serious candidates.”

I’d never heard of the last one and just laughed him off. WELP.

Well, we did score more points.

We scored 21 against UF because we turned the ball over a million times and had just as many possessions. Our slow developing pass plays really worked. I had to sit through the 14-3 game against Charlotte where we scored on special teams. Other than Auburn and maybe USC, the offense was not good.

You’re literally too dense to understand what EVERYONE is saying to you. Either that or you realize how wrong you are and have moved the goalpost over to the fans hiring Pruitt. But continuing this argument with you is pointless and you won’t find a single person in this forum or in your lair the FF who agrees with you about the argument everyone else is having with you.

Either way I’m done with it.
I dont ignore many people on here but it's been better since I started using the function.

I never said it was great. Just better then this year. Give me a variation of the spread, that's what I'd prefer.

I'm a Jazz and Cubs fan also. 2016 makes it all worth it.

The recruiting forum might be the most backward section of vn. You guys think the fans have anything to do with who's hired and who's not? If that were true, Pruitt would've never been hired. As I recall most of you were damn sure that Gruden was hired. Talk about something to behold.

Geez, the most "backward section" of this site? I've been around UT discussion boards a long time. I was on the old Gridscape that Chuck ran and was active on there and probably know some of the folks on VN because it seems like we had a couple of get-togethers before and after games or some of us met up. That seems like a lifetime ago. I don't do any social media at all except for a couple of fishing boards and this one (which I've been a member off and on since Freak started it). I don't have time to live on the Internet, and I rarely post much. However, I appreciate the regulars on the recruiting forum keeping up with and posting up about the recruiting in the player threads. I mean, Hell, any board is going to have its moments, but I look at all of the player threads and get a kick out of some of the banter and conflict on these general RF threads (not sure what that says about me). I thought a lot of the Gruden stuff was a joke. Surely you didn't take all that seriously. ???

Pruitt would have likely gotten a job sooner or later. Maybe not an SEC job.

Remember, desperation is a stinky cologne. We had been told no a few times.
I without a doubt understand the circumstances and the situation that Fulmer was in, but irrespective of that would any of our rivals hired him?

Didn't Miss St express interest in him but he pulled his name out? Seems like I remember reading that.

I’ve heard many talking heads saying the same thing in recent weeks: this is a 4-5 year rebuild. From local guys to national writers. I’m beginning to agree. I think we will win some games and should make bowl games every year during this rebuild. If that happens, I can wait it out. As long as I see consistent improvement, overall buy in and the occasional upset. JMO...
