My football season is dead.

I don’t follow nfl, but my son was having a great season his first year of middle school, starting both ways and broke his ankle last Wednesday. I’m taking a break from football this year!

This season is the equivalent of wiping and having the TP tear mid-wipe.

It’s so sad that my buddies and I have started started shotgunning beers when the other team scores because we can’t. Good news is those Nattys aren’t going to waste next weekend.

How relevant are the Fall scrimmages? I am not flaming; I am genuinely curious. Do teams tend to use their better players in these games?

There is definitely more subbing than normal, but generally teams throw their best arms. They just don’t throw as long as normal. Crochet and Wallace had good outing as “starters” (2ip).

Okay as bad as we are we really have to beat two or three of the SEC east teams. College football is as bad as it’s ever been right now.

The gap between the top 5 or 6 teams is wider than I can remember.. Several very bad teams this year..

or, as a fan you hear lip service every ****ing week. and you become numb to it. there's two sides to every coin.

shoop and butch never connected at all. Shoop would always be by himself. Shoop is awesome tho.

'Bone, by virtue of 'hindsight is 20-20' model, and 'ol conservative Phillip. Jeremy has another year.

In hindsight, Butch should have had another year. Cant stand the guy, be he had earned it.

He has another year to weed out the kids who dont want to be here. to get a qb who sees more than 1/3 of the field, and recruit more Toto's.

Of course. If you’re going to switch to an offense that doesn’t fit your QB you then you better have someone that it does or at least tweak it to his strengths and we’ve done neither.
Not taking away any blame from JG but he is what he is and the coaches had a full season of him to see that. They knew last year he couldn’t make these throws that this offense is centered around

His current strength is occasionally reacting to pressure well enough to get a ball off that Jennings, Callaway or Palmer can go athlete on. That happened occasionally last year when he was getting blowed up every other play. He wasnt terrible last year under very different circumstances.
They ve gotten the OL better and given him a chance to actually read and deliver. Basically, play the position, something he didnt really get to do last year. You cant throw passes you dont see.


Theres no system for his current strengths.

Any man that takes 1 million dollars or more and puts up that kind of trash, deserves my ire, and yes im aware of the current salaries.
