It is a septic rot, and these coaches have all coached winners..it is obviously not them, or their ability to lead and teach. It is a screwup loser septic rot that is in this rosters bones. I don't know what the answer or cure is. It seems like every new kid gets infected with it as soon as he gets here.So watching AL and Ole Miss, Arky, and Clemson UNC---- here's the difference in the underdogs and us----- those teams don't have a lot of talent like we do, but their mindset is different and they believe they can play and win... they are positive and well-coached. Ole miss isn't playing afraid and is being aggressive and letting it all hang out... and it shows. We have been going out with a defeatist attitude and little if any fire. Coaching has been mehh...
If there is a chance to get this team top to bottom to believe in themselves and all be on the same page, fighting for each other, going out and being fired up and not intimidated, we can do some damage--- even this year still, if somehow our team's mindset changes...
As long as we have this piss poor attitude, we will continue to get our ass whipped...
Not too much. Had a kid we wanted to see if he could meet some players ect who can't come to UT games. Been in a WC most of his life and can't talk. Just sad how we can take our kids to games and this dad can't go with his son because of his situation. Some buddies of Jeremy told him about it and had family write a letter that Jeremy got. Family never heard anything so some of us made sure he still got an opportunity and arranged a game for them in a sky box. He also got to meet someone better than our coach. Let's just say, I respect and admire our AD now more than ever. I will stop bringing it up now. I just lost any degree of respect I had for Jeremy. I know he's focused on trying to do his job but to me, this is part of what his job should be. We have folks to take care of the tough parts of arrangement. But for him to ignore it made some of his buddies think that perhaps he has forgot he is still just a good old boy from the mountain.
twitter clicks generate notoriety. they promote the "brand" (to use the cattle farming metaphor) and encourage the weasel. no need for an over-literal reading of the postNone of that is true......the only way he makes money is off Athletic subscriptions and clicks on the Athletic website. You can't make money directly from Twitter.
Where did we get talent? Our QB cant read a defense, or throw a screen. So watching AL and Ole Miss, Arky, and Clemson UNC---- here's the difference in the underdogs and us----- those teams don't have a lot of talent like we do, but their mindset is different and they believe they can play and win... they are positive and well-coached. Do some math and quit running the agenda. We scored 42 on Georgia Tech in 2017. Give the Pruitt some time. He didn’t become an idiot. What do you think happens when you have players who aren’t in a strength and conditioning program and are not developed? Urban Meyer couldn’t turn this program around in 2 years.
I don't think anyone disagrees with that.I keep reading these reasonable-sounding posts about how unreasonable it is to be overly critical of our start and CJP's ability to get it done here. These posts make a lot of sense and there are valid points about culture, QB play and the roster he inherited. And, then I remember Georgia State and get that sick feeling in my stomach that we are going to be in search mode again sooner than we would like. I agree that we cannot fire him and should not, but he has to show me way, way, way more than he has so far to make me forget that debacle.
