The last scene has the two leaving together and the screen goes black with the words in white saying..paraphrased but close, "Chris was killed by this crazy guy he was trying to help". I mean it didn't show him killing him, but it was clear he did.

I guess if it not showing him getting his head blown off is what Top meant by the true story is worse, then okay, he's right. Weird though.

Grown ass responsible adults will heat it in an oven and make a nice bechamel or mushroom mornay to top it with.
