Would be nice but I don't make guarantees as quickly as many, on that topic. So thankful for the Brays and Dobbs of the world but they also bring selective memory disorder.

The number of "I guarantee" backups that didn't, is much longer than the "did" list. "Let him calm down".. it doesn't get more relaxed than practice and what has been happening in practice? The same that happened in scrimmage, the O&W game and live action "they've got to stop throwing the ball to the wrong team".

The key part of your statement is Adrian Martinez. We would be better with a good QB. IMO AM decommited because of Tyson Helton. AM did not have an offer from USC when Helton was their OC even though AM was a west coach kid. Pruitt and Helton both visited AM quickly after Pruitt took the job to try to convince him to stick with UT, but AM wanted to head to Nebraska instead.

Next year will be leaning on the Pruitt's Jr's, Soph., and Freshmen to carry this team. I don't even know what Seniors will be on this team that will contribute.

We are not Yale. We have some talent. If you barely make a bowl in year three at UT you are not the right coach. We have enough talent to beat anyone not named UGA, UF, OU, or Bama next year.

As soon as Scott Frost landed the Nebraska job, he landed Martinez...no matter who was the HC at UT. Wouldn’t have been shocked if he could have flipped him to UCF.

Same reason I harp on Leach's first 3 years at WS. We would've fired him also. That's no way a defense of Pruitt, he may go on to be horrific, but the coaches we discuss and the timeframes we give, don't mesh.

Troof! What some of these guys don’t get. It’s not defending Pruitt to say that no one gets a realistic leash at UT.

You’re gonna have to give him an extension to appeal to recruits and potential assistants because surely you’re going to replace 3-5 assistants whether you’re firing or they are leaving. The hardest thing to do is convince a proven coach to leave a comfortable situation to join a coach that is on the hot seat. Especially considering you basically have 4 guaranteed losses next year in bama, uga, @ Oklahoma, And Florida.

It’s what ultimately got butch and Dooley fired. Butch’s last staff outside of shoop is the worst collection of coaches I’ve ever seen.

Same thing with Dooley. Wilcox leaves and Dooley can’t land a proven DC so he hires Grimace as his DC and that was all she wrote.

Replace 3-5 assistants and give Pruitt an extension? Only 2 I feel for sure will be gone are Winke and Rocker. Maybe David Johnson? Or maybe Sherrer? Large staff turnover is not what we need and I don’t think it has to be done. Giving Pruitt an extension doesn’t have to be done either. Fulmer is letting people know Pruitt will be around next year.

Now I get to read "that's our problem, we give too much time". Cause folks gonna act like the admin not firing excuses their call for heads usually by game 4.

bronco went 2-10 in year one. our guy went 5-7 and beat two top 20 programs in year one. circles? thru 4 games in year two, at best it's parallel lines....maybe we get to year 4 and then compare?

in year one, Bronco lost to Richmond, Uconn, and every ACC team not named Duke. the other win...Central Michigan. yeah, that'd go over well here. lol. Bronco would have never made it to a 4-0 start in year 4 if up to some of the folks here....but now he's "great"..........

double standard doesn't even begin to cover it.
