The intelligence community’s chief watchdog, Michael Atkinson, is known to his peers and colleagues as a highly cautious “straight shooter” who tends to keep his head down.

So when he sounded the alarm to Congress earlier this month about an “urgent” complaint he’d received from an intelligence official involving Trump’s communications, those who’ve worked with him were surprised — and took it seriously.

“As soon as I saw that it was Atkinson, I thought, ‘Oh ****, this is real,’” said one of Atkinson’s former Justice Department colleagues. “He’s not a political guy. He’s a classic career prosecutor who’s only going to call balls and strikes.”

But the fact you are asking it tells me you realize the trouble Trump is in over this. And he did it to himself. His own ego and hubris are his downfall.

Lol. A president signs of on illegally spying on a candidate in hopes of pinning something on him. It fails but he somehow gets a pass. A president asks a foreign country to investigate shady dealings with a candidate. The story has actual legs but this president is wrong? Lol. He was just trying to be more flexible, there’s nothing wrong with that....right?

Lol. Nothing is gonna happen it’s already falling apart about who said what with 2nd hand info. If your gonna set the standards don’t try and move the goalposts when it’s convenient. The dims will kick and scream and cry for the unforeseen future but if it wasn’t this it would be some other bs. Like a great idiot once said “elections have consequences” so deal with it.
