If this coaching staff doesn’t fix itself during the bye week. Then this Team is screwed for this year.

Either Maurer or Shrout should be the QB. JG has had too many chances.

As much as this staff is making, there shouldn’t be as many issues as we are having. I don’t care who your players are. At this point I don’t care if you have to play walk-ons as long as they want to be on that field.

Us not producing on Offense is a disgrace to this program and these players. I mean honestly.... what receiver wants to go to UT when we can’t even get them the ball?

Who's fault is it that we've not developed one of the backups on the roster? Who's fault is it we haven't brought in a grad transfer or a JUCO guy? Who's fault is it that the DL is so bad? Is the DO worse than GS?

If you know Pruitt is going to fail, as I do, do you keep him because you think other coaches won't come here? I mean we've tried and have given coaches the freedom to burn the whole thing to the ground, and they've obliged, and what's that got us?

It's time for the orange colored glasses Vol apologist stuff to end that hits in here about mid-week. Realists and nega-Vols have been proven correct about this program. This game proved that the start of the season was not a fluke. Whatever this coaching staff has been thinking and analyzing is horribly wrong. If they don't go full bore youth movement with the bye week they have lost their minds and want to be fired.

We shouldn’t be at 1 win. I just don’t blame the coaching staff for BYU. That’s squarely on the two number 2’s imo. Nor do I blame them completely for what happened today.

Again, any coach who sees our roster and the talent disparity that we have, and then sees us fire Pruitt after 2 years would laugh when they received a call from Fulmer about taking this job. Not a chance. Pruitt could offer Richt and Meyer 10 mil/per year and they wouldn't take it. And we can't pay that anyway.

I would bet my house that with a good, not even great but good coach we are 3 and 1 and possibly 4 and 0 right now with these same players. I've seen it before, a team struggles and a competent coach comes in and looks like a new team.
I just can't give Pruitt a pass there is something wrong more than players. We have better players than Ga St and BYU!

You want him gone? How will that work? No one will come here we've seen that play out already.

UGA QB Bryce Ramsey told my dad a few years ago, the defense didn't like Pruitt because the schemes were very difficult to the point where he said the players just nodded and pretended to understand.

I think we’ll win 4 or 5 still, too much talent on staff & roster not to have a few surprise performances.

Still think we got a better chance winning games with Maurer though. His one mistake hit DWA in the hands.

Shrout was picking up an old phone you know one with a cord and holding the entire thing to his head. They tweeted that out. Jr showed me and I was like why?

As in why are they showing this over and over? I thought he was checking to see if it was ringing

Thank you! I’m tired of excuses. We have looked terrible and we have one of the highest paid coaching staffs in America. It is the coaches jobs to have their players ready. USC beat a good Utah team will a third string QB. We don’t have a single QB who has looked half as good as USC’s third string QB did. That is development.

I think its crazy to be calling for a coaching change this early when it is clear to everyone watching the games that the best players on this team are the freshmen that Pruitt has recruited. We don't have talent. We don't. A talented DL gets push, no matter who the coach is. Ours gets none, 0. It's pathetic actually.

If we fired Pruitt there won't be any respectable coach taking this job. Y'all think we'll fire him and Urban Meyer will just gladly take this job. Ain't happening. And when people see our roster and that we fired Pruitt so early, there won't be any proven coaches coming here. It would be another Dooley or another Jones.

Best thing we can do is upgrade the staff and hope that Pruitt gets this thing together through recruiting. We have a long way to go to catch up with the talent we are playing on Saturdays.
