Maurer TD

According to our head coach that pass should never had been thrown into that coverage. Your boy made a bad decision and you are blaming the WR for it, lol. He had 3 pass plays called for him, one was a bad throw, one was the wrong decision as to where he was supposed to throw the ball and the other he tucked and ran. There's probably a reason they have more run packages than pass plays for BM.
Isn’t the point of progressions not to preselect a receiver? If your answer is yes then why wouldn’t he take advantage of the 1 on 1 coverage outside on a go route to a bigger receiver with no safety help? That’s a catch to any one of our receivers not named Keyton obviously. And I never heard Pruitt say that. I heard him say they both made horrible decisions with no details of what he meant. Not saying he didn’t elaborate later but I haven’t seen it. And just to further my point did you hear him criticize JG for the same “horrible decision” on his very first pass that should’ve been picked? Because I didn’t. Funny huh?

He handcuffed himself by not being as developed of a passer.

There isn't a narrative. He isn't as good. Evey single evaluation through their respective careers has said BM is not as good or talented as JG.

Coaches and media who watch them every day and the talent evaluators have all said the same thing.
Wow dude. Not even close to true. They aren’t even close in class so they would’ve never been evaluated against one another. JGs stats vs New Jersey competition vs BMs stats vs Florida competition says it all. You shouldn’t reach that far man..... you’ll fall.

JG was out of the game for a long stretch. Backups got playing time. Extent of the science. You’re changing the subject that I was commenting on. Good strategy to utilize when you seldom to never stray from the narrative that your boy isn’t capable of making a not perfect throw. The one to Keyton was CATCHABLE as in possible to catch...it wasn’t right to him. I wanted to see the QB’s get some FIRST TIME action...wasn’t expecting a whole gameplan built around said first time action. Coaching staff got to see and evaluate their composure and skills in real time...which should have been their goal imo. The opportunity to seize the starting job was and is during practice.
So qbs need to throw Keyton a perfect ball. Got it.

You're simple minded. We've already had this discussion, I even told you all of that in a previous post, it was all said in the post game interview with Bob. Maybe you should apply for some coaching jobs, you clearly think he should have made that throw and our current coaches think the exact opposite. Also if you are going to credit BM on that decision you must credit JG as well because it was the same exact decision.

Then you didn’t...because he did. Said the first pass was a bad throw that should have been intercepted. Without the rest of your spiel, I would’ve thought you were quoting him. 😎

Bias vs bias. Irresistible force/immovable object territory. 😎

I didn’t disagree with the decision JG made. I think he took a shot that should’ve been taken. It was just a bad throw.

And before you say “JG did, and beat them” there are 2 different IMG teams. White and blue. JG played the lesser of the 2. I believe it’s the white team that’s like their JV.

That’s BS! FTR JG’s team LOST to them but he played well. Know more about what you’re arguing...Coach! 😏

Agreed. In fact it’s rare a qb throws a “perfect” ball.
Pretty much the same exact thing I said. So Keyton has infuriated you on two particular receptions that you admit weren’t perfectly thrown. Now WHY do you have this unrealistic standard for his targets when everyone else know that it sucks but receivers don’t always come up with the ball?

So just to be accurate, Shea Patterson, a SR in 2015 and the captain of the team, played on IMGs JV team? So by all means, who was the starting QB for IMGs varsity team?

I assumed his team won because I remember seeing a video on YouTube but never watched it and I don’t remember anything about IMG blue losing to any team from NJ.

That Ass U Me gift that keeps on giving.

Did anyone notice Pruitt and Weinke talking to Maurer after his touchdown? It looked like they were being a little harsh to him. Does anyone know what was going on?
He was moving the ball from one hand to the other as he was lunging toward to goal line/pylon. Swain discusses it this morning, believes they were coaching him not to do this since he could’ve easily fumbled through the end zone and gotten no points.....recall Austin Pope last year vs Florida and Pig Howard vs Georgia in 2012. Pruitt was coaching a freshman hard, as he and every other player on this team should be.

Because some are being overly critical of a qb and his abilities and giving the receiver a pass

There’s no sin in an incomplete pass. As long as you’re not trying to hype it up as a POSITIVE. I saw a lot of what you and Little have been droning on and on about, ad nauseum. Lot of fight, spit, moxie, mobility what have you. Viewed a live arm and a confident attitude. I also saw the raw, kinda out of control factor...almost like this was his first college game action and could learn something. You wanna damn every receiver who doesn’t make him look instantly elite and that’s a lot damning on your plate in the next few seasons.
