Does anyone else think that we see Trask and Emory Jones on Saturday?
Think that’s the plan. Mullen hinted they had wanted to introduce a package for Jones against Kentucky...before the Wildcats started kicking their azz.

At all.😭😂 last week I like how he rolled out away from the pressure to make throws..my only issue is I think he felt that late and only avoided it because it wasn't a sec teams rush, instead it was Chattanooga 😭🤷🏽‍♂️😂😂😂
Got sacked against UTEP, ETSU and Charlotte last year

I endured Dan’s 33+ minute press conference today just to see if there were any hints about what they might do this week. They didn’t even talk about Tennessee until the last minute. Anyway, he did say that they would probably use both QBs but Trask is the starter. He said they may have some occasions where both guys would be on the field at the same time.

He pointed out that the only real adjustment the guys would have to make is dealing with the media and the fans because as long as they were the backups they were everyone’s favorites. They’re not the backups any more so that will be the interesting thing to watch. Both guys have been taking reps with the 1’s since the spring so in that respect he said they were/are prepared. He also said they have really good skill position players at receiver and running back to help the QBs out so they’ll continue to try to work around the young offensive line.

He said Perine, the RB, was the second leading receiver on the team and they were doing that because there’s not been a lot of running room up front and Perine had come back for his senior year so they were trying to help him develop that aspect of his game (catching balls out of the backfield) for the next level.

He said Amari Burney (safety moved to LB this year) would be back this week. Greenard will be fine. Henderson and Zuniga need to get healthy this week and he thinks they could be ready by game time but he doesn’t expect them to practice this week. Owing to their veteran status he thinks forgoing practice and focusing on getting as healthy as possible is best for them and the team.

He said Tennessee had a lot of really good skill position players on offense and a lot of speed on defense. He said the season for Tennessee hadn’t started out the way they wanted but the BYU game looks a little different this week than it did last week. That was about it.
