Look, all I am saying is that this is not the UT locker room. It isn't the film room. It's. a. message. board. I think we take ourselves a littttttle too seriously around here sometimes. I'm not saying you're right or wrong. I'm just saying that WHATEVER you say, you have the right to say it.

Just because someone has the right to say something doesn’t mean they should. Not sure that I really care at this point and am kicking myself in the ass for coming back. This place is as negative and depressing as it gets. I just figured at some point Freak and you guys would get tired of it and start trying to steer the conversations on a more positive note. That’s obviously not gonna happen. Have a good night.

I sometimes wonder if Vol fans on message boards are really fans at all.

As a group of fans we never seem to be happy with any choice made by coaches, admin, the team, or anyone.

We loose and we bitch. We win and we bitch.

I like the team but they aren’t very good.

Rant over.

It's a message board for fans. Some of us are just disgusted with "waiting till next year" for the past 15 years. When things are we all, mostly, sound like sunshine pumpers. When they're bad, some of us are gonna complain. It's always been that way, and always will. Every fan base I know does the exact same thing. Surely you guys know this, or the question falls back to why are you here if you don't understand that? Yesterday I was all giggles, Saturday will likely be different. Us fans believing and being positive does not win ball games. I sincerely think some people honestly believes that, it doesn't. Talent and coaching, that's what wins, period. Sadly, we've been slack in both areas off and on for a long time, people are gonna complain.

Anything can can happen on Saturdays, I'm hoping for a big orange win. Florida ain't world beaters right now but I expect we see their best just hope the Vols bring theirs. I'll be there, I have some great memories @ the Swamp from when I was on the hill also some not so great ones. Hope we make some great memories Saturday.

I hate Florida. Late-80s and 90s is when I really grew as a fan and Florida is enemy #1 for me. I want to beat them sooooo badly. But do I think we will? No. And I don’t think that makes me a bad fan or a “negavol” (whatever that actually is...). We are two weeks removed from losing to Georgia State. I’m not sure how anyone could actually confidently say we’ll beat Florida.

When did we get to the point where every fan has to react to every game the same way. You think we might win....great. Some others think we don’t have a chance.....okay cool. I don’t understand questioning other’s football knowledge or fandom because a difference of opinion. This is not politics and I hope we don’t start treating it like it is.

Unless someone is an Alabam or Florida fan......there is no right way.

Of course it doesn't, but you can't expect people to not be upset when we're looking at the worst team in Tennessee history. I know everyone is all jacked up about yesterday, but man seriously, that may likely be our only win. I hope I'm wrong and you can rub it in, I mean that.
