Said on 104.5, TN has lost 5 games on the last play in the past 8 years. I am always waiting for the ol' nut kick.
Seems like much more. Since Fulmer left, I recall the Alabama game (Kiffin) Dooley (LSU and North Carolina) Butch (Georgia (Pig) Oklahoma, Florida, Texas AM) Pruitt (BYU)

UTC, I really hope we can handle, if we bring last week's effort, I agree we will, if we bring the GSU effort, all bets are off.
Kentucky is definitely a possibility with maximum effort even though it's on the road because of the Wilson injury.
My heart wants to give us UAB as well, but they've got a pretty good ball club, if we bring GSU effort, that's definitely a loss.

Vandy, I'd like to move into the W column but they've beaten us senseless 3 years running, and I've seen nothing this year to indicate we are going to reverse that.

USCe, we've never beaten Muschamp. They are too much man for us on the LOS also I am afraid.

I'm really not feeling the @Mizzou pick, they just beat West Virginia 38-7, with that being on the road again, I fear they will skullfrack us once again.

So bottom line is 4-8 looks like a best case scenario to me, 5-7 or 6-6 would be a miracle. Most had us at 6-7 wins pre-season, and pretty much everybody had GSU and BYU included in their calculations.
Thats where I was at before the year. However if this year ends up 4-8 or worse then I may have to jump on the Pruitt isnt the guy wagon.

Fulmer would never hire Urban.
Fulmer likes being AD, and why not? Don't we want to win? Would Urban want to go to a team who dissed Schiano? Would he want to play Alabama, Georgia and Florida every year?

You were smarter than me, I thought 7-5, but I counted GSU and BYU and while I still see us having good chances at wins against Kentucky, UAB, and Chattanooga, I no longer see it as likely we win more than 1 of the Vandy, USCe and Mizzou games. Maybe we surprise MSU, but that'd still get us only to 5-7. I just can't see how Pruitt is the savior of the program if he wasn't able to get the team sufficiently prepared to beat Georgia State on opening weekend, but I agree, if he can't get to 5 wins his seat will be sizzling hot next year.

Rewatching the game... it is unbelievable how many wide open receivers JG missed and how late he was on his throws. It’s crazy.

If we can see it, how can the professional coaches not see it? Answer - they do. So they should stop gaslighting the fan base, sit the terrible QB, and try the next one in the pecking order.

Yep slow played him at the start, then when it was stated that Martinez may flip they started to try to keep him but by that time it was too late.
So we hired Pruitt on the 7th.
Martinez said this on the 8th
He just wanted to reassure me that Im wanted at Tennessee, and he understands my situation and hes looking forward to talking more in the future," said Martinez, who's ranked the No. 142 overall prospect and No. 8 dual-threat quarterback in the 247Sports Composite for the 2018 class.
Martinez then goes and hangs out with Frost on the 9th
Pruitt flew all the way to Cali on the 11th
And Martinez removed TN from his bio on the 12th

Personal calls, a flight across the country and he decommitted all within 5 days, but according to you and Hank we slow played him???
