I’m saying it wasn’t a called pass play. It was a called running play that the RB or Qb busted and then the qb just threw it quickly after the bust

Agreed.

I’ve gone back and watched the play over and over. It was supposed to be a run to the left. Rogers turned the wrong way. All the WRs and line were blocking the play to go left. The right WR just ran off the line and then turned around quickly when he saw the bust

That’s interesting to consider. Overall I’d agree especially if you are saying the coaching gap is minimal between most power 5 and the rest.

The place id disagree is that the elite coaches gap seems be widening. Dabo-Saban and crew seem to be WAY ahead of the rest

A miniscule fraction of the fan base tweets garbage at players. A miniscule amount of the earth's population are serial killers. There's just going to be people in life who suck and no amount of reasoning will change their minds. If you're a public figure who is getting your feez hurt by a few internet trolls, then stop giving them power by reading their sputum and responding to them. And certainly don't make the mistake of taking what a few Twitter idiots say to be the general consensus of the fan base.

5/7 of the teams scored 34+. Not sure if talent gap is shrinking as much as offenses and running QBs are evening the field some.

Before you had teams playing standard classic pro style and getting steamrolled. Only so many good passers to go around and you really can't out execute more talent, gotta outscheme em.

Not reading into the gap is smaller at all. TN played a vastly inferior opponent. The rest were toss ups other than Mizzou. We simply sucked.
