33k students on main campus. 55k total whatever that is. Jesus. Bigger than most flagships outside of cali, florida.

This may be a little bit of a reach but I find the timing of the announcement odd. Seems like this should have been announced months ago

Any chance Neyland hosting Garth in November is something we just finally agreed to knowing we needed to make up for Lost $ in attendance??

I’ll take a kid like that any day that has had to bust his ass for that Scholly and that ranking and not just given to him. I want kids that have chips on their shoulders.

People can talk a good game, but when your up against it, I wanna see that emotion, I wanna see you get into guys faces and tell em, either you bring it EVERY MFING PLAY, or I’m gonna stomp your ass after the game!!!! Either your gonna give everything you got, or you’re going to class carrying a ASS WHOOPIN!!!

(Sorry for the language Folks, but I’m tired of seeing this product on the field. I’m tired of hearing this and that. Line up and play some DAMN FOOTBALL!)

Murphy left on his own is the word. Who knows where the truth really lies. Had he already left and then made the tweets? Did he act a fool, then told he'll never play again, then decided to leave? It's anyone's guess

I do. I just don't think it makes sense to beat someone up for not showing up in a game. No one physically beats your azz if you only clean out half the horse stalls or whatever job you do.

so the world owes him something because he’s had a rough childhood? I don’t think so. Life is tough and how you respond to those things shows character. Acting like an immature brat who doesn’t care about his team, his program, or what he’s been blessed with by being on scholarship at UT isn’t going to earn any sympathy from me. And it shouldn’t from anyone else. He’s got a lot to learn and truthfully maybe the best thing that ever happens to him was being kicked off the team. Time will tell.

He doesn’t have a father figure to help guide him to that tho

Coach G was supposed to be but Pruitt was a moron and fired him 🐸☕️ (Bad move regardless of Murphy. RBs have gotten noticeably worse since he’s been gone)
