How hard is it to say "Deactivate your social media or we deactivate your scholarship" for ffs?
I would think it might be putting ourselves at risk if said in front of others. Maybe privately. Even then have to find a way to uhm...nudge...a kid out. Though I think most will leave when told theyll never play another snap. Prob what happened with Murph

Wish I had @NotoriousRPP s information on the other players that were brought to the coaches attention that our players didn’t want on the team......

Was it just these two?

Oddly enough, from a health of the team standpoint, the guy with anger issues is probably more helpful than the locker room cancer.
Could of used some of that on the field on Saturday.

I’m not saying I don’t have a lot of the same feelings. I just find it interesting.

Interesting takes, these. A lot of folks seem to be celebrating Murphy being gone for something relatively minuscule. Last week, a lot of folks seemed to downplay actions by a player criminally charged and are ready to have him back on the team.

I like how you misrepresent Murphy choosing to enter the transfer portal, into making it sound as if he was dismissed for his social media posts.

See above posts. I said he’s “gone.” I also said his only misdeed in the view of VN was on social media.

I also am not taking the party line as gospel. Go back to the “what else is he going to say,” thing.

“We booted him for twittering.”

Don't act or play like a b!tch...i mean Butch player and you won't get called a butch player.

Damn right now this board is raving about JJ.

I’d also guess we’d love to have ole Josh dobbs playing QB and DB rushing the passer.

Sorry your post is just dumb

I'm all for having player and team based accountability, but I'm not following some of these posts where dudes are saying "if these players don't show up on the field, some of the other players should beat their azzes." I'd just rather have them gone. We don't need player on player violence with a perception that it's condoned by the staff and the school.

You're kidding right?

Haven't posted in a few day. I like the new home. Anyway, I wanted to leave this here. I believe we are all going through these stages and it is ok for all of us to feel the way that we do after a gut wrenching, epic let down that we just went through. Since this is geared to more significant events in life the process we go through is generally much longer but since we live week to week with our team, our grieving is quickly accelerated and the stages overlap a lot more.

Me personally, I am past the shock and denial and working through the stages with the help of all of you! GO VOLS, BEAT BYU.

I find that the Fall work week goes more smoothly when the program is not in crisis. Edit: Wait, reevaluating my sample size.

I hate Twitter. Fans should not respond to players or families. Players should not bait fans into responding. Nothing good comes from this interaction. Always going to have THAT GUY respond to the player.
Big reason I deleted it... aaaaand also why I joined this site to still keep up with Vol stuff
