Everyone agrees we should have won the GS game. No one would say it was a 50/50 game at all. But wouldn't the same philosophy apply with GA, AL, et al.? Do we not have a chance to win against them like GS had a chance (and took it) against us?

Wouldn't attitude, preparation still apply to us in those games as well?

Funny, someone on here sent me a message when I said we would go 7-5. It said NEGAVOL. Also, tried to pick a fight on why I was so negative. People are something. The same philosophy does apply, but it just will not happen. Hope I'm wrong.

Here's the difference:

GA State was more more prepared mentally and physically than us. They were the better coached team. By combining the fact that GSU was more prepared and better coached, they negated whatever talent advantage we had. This wasn't a repeat of the 96 Memphis game (a bad call, fluke, and a little luck), the better team won...

Even if we are more mentally prepared than Alabama, they will still be more physically prepared than us. They will be better coached than us. They will have more talent than us.

No, not the way this works, you’re overthinking it. In simplest terms, if Tennessee can’t play with, compete with and win a game vs easily the worst team in their schedule, primarily due to attitude and program culture, then there’s no chance in hell they can beat 2 of the 3 or 4 best teams in the country. Both Georgia and Alabama are gonna beat this ish team by 40+ no matter they do or don’t do.

We coildnt have won the GA ST, we got ran over all game. Sure the pregame chatter says we should have won, unfortunately that doesnt matter. What matters is on the field.
JG said post game, they were confused by defenses so our coaches failed to prepare the team for a game against one of the worst teams in FBS. Imagine what will happen against good cosches and 5 star talent.....gonna be a long season.
